second year at the evripides hotel. the welcome you receive is fantastic. rooms are basic but very clean and tidy. pool area clean and tidy. bar offers competitively priced drinks and food. on occasions there are barbeque nights and pool is kept open for night swimming. at £12 euro's you'd be a fool to miss. the resort is idelly situated enough distance from the busy lively town centre to enjoy a relaxing holiday but for the more adventurous like me a short bus ride or shared taxi to the bustling nightlife. beautiful restaurants avli and yianni's offer authentic greek cuisine at great prices. try chef's mezzi for an amazing taste bud experience. also vegetarian option on this available. all in all a most pleasurable experience again at the evripides hotel try it yourself then write a review similar to this i'm sure you will

My family had a lovely time at Evrpides Village, we stayed for two weeks and were extremely happy with our self catering studio which had great bathroom. The room was clean and comfortable. We especially loved the pool area and were very happy with the staff. We could not have had a better holiday. The beach is just a short walk away and it is the perfect distance from the party atmosphere which is only a 5 min taxi ride away. We are planning to go back next year.

When we arrived I was apprehensive as it first seems to be in the middle of nowhere. Once you've orientated yourself though, you'll be grateful not to be staying in the centre, or in the huge complex further up the road. We stayed for a week.

As a couple, we had enough cutlery and crockery, four of each. The fride worked very well, nothing was broken. It would have been nice to have a kettle and toaster but I think it's the lack of space on the counter that hasn't allowed for these extra items. ...

The Evripides village Hotel in Kardamena is a great place too stay, me and my fiancee have stayed there 3 years running each time we stayed for 2 weeks at a time. We cannot express how friendly and welcoming all the staff are there and if you do have a problem lets be honest some moan more than others the staff will help you and do what they can to rectify any problems you may have. The hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of Kardamena, a 50 minute walk or 7 euros in a taxi or a bus at the b ...

I have been looking at the recent reviews regarding the Evripedes hotel/apartments and think some of you have been a little miss led by your tour operators to be honest. We have just returned from a 1 week stay at the evripedes and i have to honestly say in the time we were there our service was excellent. My partner and myself became very good friends with both father and son who run the apartment complex along with there very friendly staff. But please bare in mind that the newest part of the c ...

We booked our Olympic holiday through Direct holidays. Having looked at Olympics 'site, the accommodationm was not as I expected.
We paid about £475 each for one week. Perhaps if you were looking to go out partying every night and had got this for half what we paid you may not mind.
Upon arrival at our room we found some kitchen units on the side of the wall. Also what appeared strange was the positioning of light fixtures at the beds appeared clearly placed without a kitchen in mind. The ...

It was very disappointing to find that things that were advertised were not available, the accommodation advertised that it was good for families and couples - No not in July in my opinion!! We were lucky as we were staying for a month so although the first two weeks were not so good end of July and early August was good as the youngsters went home and families and couples arrived, making the place much more civilised. The bus into Kardemena did not run every hour, if you missed the 9:55 bus in ...

Have just returned from one week stay at Evripides and would love to be back there! Booked very much last minute (day before). Had visited website so knew to take hairdryer and that aircon was available at extra cost. Found Nikos and his family to be pleasant and helpful; they couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. We arrived at 4.30 a.m. and were greeted cheerfully and guided to our room, which was clean and tidy. We noticed we didn't have a kettle/jug to boil water and no large spoons ...

I really can't fault anything from Evripides Village. I stayed with 2 friends and we had the best holiday ever. We arrived at 6am and even at that time were able to get a much needed drink at the bar. Lovely views out to sea and the other islands in the distance.

The apartments are located a taxi ride away from town, in a lovely peaceful setting. Was only 7 euro to get to Kardamena, which is great if you don't want it in your face all the time.

Our room was perfect, was cooled in the evenings ...

Evripides Village Hotel was relaxing and out of earshot of the main town.
Very friendly and you get what you pay for.
Lots of young student types holidaying in the area.

The good points are the sea is only 5 min walk from the apartments the pool is nice, and there is a really nice breeze in the eve! Overall Greece is a lovely place with fantastic weather! Well where should I start!! Too far from main town Kardemena, a taxi cost 7 euros each way and there is no local super market so you have to go into Kardemena to get all your groceries, buying food and drink from the bar is very expensive a can of coke is 2 euros each! Air con is 35 euros for one week! On our ...

Visited Kardamena June/July, arrived early hours. We were greeted at the check in desk (the pool bar), where our passports were taken from us and left under the bar for a few days (really wasn't happy about this, anyone could take them).
Very basic accommodation, bathroom was really quite dirty and smelt bad. You get what you pay for. The cleaners came about 3 times over the 2 week period. We got on fairly well with the staff, although at times they could be very invasive and insulting.
    The poo ...
