Stayed here for a week end of July 2010............
Do not book a studio for more than 2 people and expect them to be small, dirty and un-cared for. Our room had dirty razor ends, stained walls and sheets. Staff are friendly enough but the rooms really let the place down. Grounds and pool nice but thats about it!
Would not return!

My family had a lovely time at Evrpides Village, we stayed for two weeks and were extremely happy with our self catering studio which had great bathroom. The room was clean and comfortable. We especially loved the pool area and were very happy with the staff. We could not have had a better holiday. The beach is just a short walk away and it is the perfect distance from the party atmosphere which is only a 5 min taxi ride away. We are planning to go back next year. (read more)

When we arrived I was apprehensive as it first seems to be in the middle of nowhere. Once you've orientated yourself though, you'll be grateful not to be staying in the centre, or in the huge complex further up the road. We stayed for a week.
As a couple, we had enough cutlery and crockery, four of each. The fride worked very well, nothing was broken. It would have been nice to have a kettle and toaster but I think it's the lack of space on the counter that hasn't allowed for these extra...

The Evripides village Hotel in Kardamena is a great place too stay, me and my fiancee have stayed there 3 years running each time we stayed for 2 weeks at a time. We cannot express how friendly and welcoming all the staff are there and if you do have a problem lets be honest some moan more than others the staff will help you and do what they can to rectify any problems you may have. I have been looking at the recent reviews regarding the Evripedes hotel/apartments and think some of you have been a little miss led by your tour operators to be honest.
We have just returned from a 1 week stay at the evripedes and i have to honestly say in the time we were there our service was excellent. My partner and myself became very good friends with both father and son who run the apartment complex along with there very friendly staff.

We booked our Olympic holiday through Direct holidays. Having looked at Olympics 'site, the accommodationm was not as I expected. We paid about £475 each for one week. Perhaps if you were looking to go out partying every night and had got this for half what we paid you may not mind. Upon arrival at our room we found some kitchen units on the side of the wall. Also what appeared strange was the positioning of light fixtures at the beds appeared clearly placed without a kitchen in mind. There... (read more)

It was very disappointing to find that things that were advertised were not available, the accommodation advertised that it was good for families and couples - No not in July in my opinion!! We were lucky as we were staying for a month so although the first two weeks were not so good end of July and early August was good as the youngsters went home and families and couples arrived, making the place much more civilised. I really can't fault anything from Evripides Village. I stayed with 2 friends and we had the best holiday ever. We arrived at 6am and even at that time were able to get a much needed drink at the bar. Lovely views out to sea and the other islands in the distance.

Nice view of the sea, the beach that was a shingle beach but if you waled 30mins there was a nice one. On our first day we were accused of throwing food about the place and threatened with eviction. The owner later found the real culprit and didn't even inform us, let alone apologise. This experience was by no means unique. I would never return. It is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. He tried blaming us for damage, and wouldn't let us leave the hotel until we paid 100 euros. He shouted at us when we said the damage was already there, which it honestly was!

Evripides Village Hotel is a fantastic place to stay. It is close enough to Kardamena to enjoy the nightlife, but it is far enough from the centre, that you can relax and enjoy peaceful afternoons in the sun. The beach is at the end of the road, where there is also a watersport centre, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The best thing about Evripides however, is the family that run the resort - you'll travel a long way to meet friendlier and more welcoming people.

The Evripides Village Hotel in Kardamena Kos is not to bad. The family work very hard, 24 hours a day for 6 months, when the resort is open.
