Good Points: Good solid reliable dvd player for people on a budget

Bad Points: Obviously due to its budget nature picture quality and lack of connectivity is hampered.

General comments: If you want a nice and easy plug in and play dvd player this LG DVD 3200e is a good choice. I purchased this unit about 2 1/2 years ago and it is still in tip top condition, playing all the dvd's I throw at it.

I have the LG connected upto my Toshiba 40" WHO8B widescreen and picture quality is generally decent. I haven't yet compared it to newer models so I can't tell the difference, but the LG does just fine at the moment.

Remote control is great also. You can probably pick a mint secondhand player for 20 or 30 quid now. Well worth it if you've started watching dvds.

I BOUGHT THIS DVD PLAYER ABOUT A YEAR AGO AND IT'S BEEN BRILLIANT. IT WAS NOT MULTI REGION OUT OF THE BOX AND I COULD NOT FIND A HACK AT THE TIME SO GOT IT CHIPPED FOR A MINOR FEE. THE LG 3200E HAS BEEN GREAT EVER SINCE, I TAKE IT WITH ME EVERYWHERE AS I WORK IN VARIOUS PLACES AND IT GETS BANGED AND SCRAPED WITHOUT COMPLAINT, ITS ALSO LIGHT AND EASY TO CARRY, DURABLE AND VERY EASY TO USE, MY GRAN IS GETTING THIS WHEN I UPGRADE. ON THE DOWN SIDE IT HAS NO 5.1 CONNECTION, NO MP3 ETC BUT ITS GREAT ...

I bought this LG-3200e DVD player because it could be hacked and was cheap (£125.00). I play r1 r2 r3 disks, through normal, widescreen and ntsc sets without any problems. The DTS output works well, though not as good as some.
I wish the output switch at the back (PAL/NTSC), was on the front our better still software menu driven, but for the price who cares.

I've had this LG LG-3200e DVD player for two weeks and have been very impressed. I haven't used the remote hack as don't have any dvds that aren't region 2; but after reading a lot of reviews apparently it works perfectly. It has zoom, a very good menu system and loads discs at a good speed. I couldn't find any other player for the price of £119.99 (reduced from £159.99 at WH Smiths in fareham) that was anywhere near as good as this player. I'd recommend it to anyone after a value fo ...

I got this LG-32000e DVD player for £119. Now that is good price. I was pleased with it straight away. It has good picture quality & sound is good on my 32" Sony TV. I managed to remote hack it to make it multiregion without any problems & from reports it should play RCE disks as well!

I bought an Lg 3200e DVD player about a year back when I didnt know much about the dvd format. Back then I though it was great but soon realised that against other brands like pioneer and panasonic the Lg was terrible. The performance of the Lg is very poor indeed I played films on it such as batman and 15 minutes and the lg can not handle the picture well at all. The picture generally is very pixelated and has huge amounts of noise on black backgrounds. Ive now invested in a Pioneer 444 and is ...

Oh dear. This LG-3200e DVD player looks a bit dated, green digital screen on unit looks rubbish.
I put up with this because the picture is great for the price. However, after using it twice it has now stopped working. Whatever disc is inserted it grinds for 10 mins and says disc error :(((
Time for a return methinks, not impressed :((((

A very good all round budget DVD player. I purchased this about 3 months ago and have yet to find a DVD that it won't play. I have several (60+) DVDs, both R1 and R2 some of which are R1 RCE encoded and still work without any problems (After the region hack has been implemented). The picture quality is very good on a 32" widescreen TV and the menu system easy to use and pleasing to the eye. Sound is also very good when connected to a Dolby Digital system, although it can only be connected vi ...
