When we arrived at Hotel Estoril it was even open we came on the 15th of June and it was closed and chained up. It was for our 19th wedding anniversary and no-one even told us that it was closed. We was left stranded on the street. Luckily a spanish bar worker got us somewhere else.

We went here for a week all inclusive in August despite paying quite a bit I never seen anything like it in my life, we arrived and we were given twin beds despite requesting a double as this was our honeymoon, the receptionist advised us that double bedrooms were only suitable for kids sized people! As I am 5ft 8 and my hubby is 6 ft and 11st and 14 st not good for us! And then it just got better from there, generator next to the first room so unable to sleep, no lift in that side so best not b ...

For me, eating in the dining room was a disaster, plates were often dirty, glasses and cutlery had to be cleaned before use also. I found the repetitive, drinks machine didn't always work. Requested clean towels and bedding only to find they just put dirty stuff back.. Several rooms were broken into. They tried to put us in a ground floor room that was damp and had no locks on the windows. WOULD NOT GO BACK!

My family and I booked this hotel because we prefer small hotels. We thought that it would be a nice family hotel. But the room for us was small and at night to hot. The fan attached to the selling made to much noise. We had half board. That was good for the price.
After a few days my sons PSP was stolen out of the hotel room. Later we discovered that a shirt and a bracelet of my wife were stolen too. I reported this to the police. Two Guardia Civil policemen came to see the room. They remarked ...

I really can't understand people who have the nerve to slate this hotel. The bottom line is you get what you pay for! You never paid 300-400 quid and expected to stay a week at the Ritz did you? The food was good, plenty of variety and yet some people still had a moan (I actually witnessed the Chef become visibly upset by the comments of one person). The bar was well stocked and the pool area was well maintained. The staff could not have been more helpful. The beach isn't far away and it is ...

I would go back to the Hotel Estoril if I was going on holiday to relax, if I was going for a clubbing holiday then I don't think it's good as the resort is small and there is no night life. The staff were all jolly and happy enough to help us out.

Overall I would never re visit the Estoril hotel again, it was based upon lack of gym, bad food and the hotel provides no entertainment at all so you have to make your own my recommendations are to pay a bit more or keep looking don't book this hotel you will be disappointed.

We would not return to the Estoril Hotel again based upon the things we have stated, my advise is if you want to sit by the pool all day every day then go to Estoril, but if you want a bit more to your holiday then keep looking.

I would certainly go back to Porto Colom if I went to a decent Hotel other than the Estoril. Carpets left a lot to be desired, could do with a good clean. A smile on the faces of the restaurant staff would not go amiss, felt everything was a bother to them. Very disappointed with Hotel. Food was very unappetising & floating in grease, We were half board so had to pay for our drinks, so expected to get decent spirits instead of house drinks.Very noisy after 11o'clock when the bar closed & ...

Having read the earlier reviews of Hotel Estoril, I had to remind myself that an open mind is the best one to have - and I'm so glad I did!

Check in was effortless, and all the staff speak basic to good English. A smile goes a long way, and it's unfortunate that many of our fellow guests didn't seem aware of this.
For a 2 star hotel, the amenities were all as expected. The stairs and landing are covered in a tired and shabby carpet, but the rooms were clean, the sheets changed once during ou ...

Too quiet resort. Lots of old people and nothing much to do anywhere. I traveled with my 14 year old daughter. The resort was pretty but got ripped off a couple of times with our money at nearby cafes.

The area is a small fishing village nice and quiet and the nearest nightlife is 10 minutes away in a taxi (16 euros which isn't bad).
We went to Cala D'or square where the bars stay open til 6am it had a really good vibe and the terrace bar in the modle of the square has good drinks offers.

All in all i supose you get what you pay for so the hotel is worth what we paid but personally i wouldn't return.

I stayed at the Estoril for 1 week and had an excellent holiday, I would certainly return here as I felt very safe even although I was staying alone. I met a lot of very nice people while I was there. I got a change of room no problem as the first room was at back of hotel, I got moved to room 1, and never looked back.
There was a lot of moans and groans around but I don't know what some people expect. I think some people want 2 star prices but 5 star service.
Absolutely no problem getting a ...

Porto Colom, not the place to go if you want any kind of entertainment or indeed any exitement.

The Hotel Estoril was a complete tip. The carpets were threadbare stained and filthy. There was no real entertainment (as promised) the rooms were okay although very basic. Power points in the rooms were inoperable.

The quality and choice of food was very poor in the main restaurant with the chef throwing food around on plates.

The all day snacks were pizza, chips and burgers and even then t ...

The Hotel Estoril rooms were basic but clean. The beds are camp beds. I wouldn't recommend it if you have young children as there is nothing for them to do. Entertainment is really bad for all! Staff are really friendly and food was excellent. Don't go if looking for night life as there is none, it's a quiet fishing village.

Although I enjoyed a long awaited holiday at Hotel Estoril, it was cheap and cheerful. The only really good points was the actual place Porto colom and the weather. The hotel did not have enough ground room around the pool for all of the guests staying there so it was really crowded at times .I also feel they did not have enough choices for kids at the evening meal times i.e. chicken chips or potatoes that were not curried. I was also disappointed to find no entertainment for the kids at night. ...
