General comments: I own my SL II since 1989 and I am still happy with them. Krell ksa 150 feed them with a Wadia 6 cd player and I have no intention to change anything...

I put in new fuses. The sound is the same with or without electricity. Who can advise me? In Holland there are only a few sold. I would like to keep my Martin Logan Sequel II speakers, but renew something if possible. The sound was perfect in the first years.

They are big, and need a lot of space. The shop where I bought them advises me to have new membranes, but they are only in black and my speakers are white! The price is over 1500 Euros. Help! What can I do to improve?

The Martin Logan Sequel II was my first ESL type design to use. I picked up my Sequel II's used and immediately had them upgraded with the newer SL3 transducer panels. After swapping out my old speakers and putting on some reference tracks I was instantly floored with detail I have never recognized before. Bass is taught with less than 18" off back wall, however more than 5 feet off side walls. It took a couple of hours to find the best position. They are freindly to my Harman Kardon Citation II ...

I have owned these Martin Logan Sequel II Speakers for over 10 years. I have used 3 different amps. First was a Parasound 1500, then a pair of Aragon 8008's, and currently use a McCormack DNA-1 Deluxe. The Mac brings out the clarity and detail and has much faster bass response. They will soak up all the power you can feed them. I use a VTL 2.5 tube preamp, which replaced a solid-state Parasound pre. The tubes smooth our the rough edges and gives you hours of fun.
