Good Points: Ideal for long journeys and tiny babies. Useful for parents with an active lifestyle. Easy to fit into car and to take out. Almost idiot-proof!
Bad Points: Does not have capacity for baby to sit supported and restrained when being used as a pram for babies who are wanting to sit up for short periods although I believe this has been resolved on a more recent model.
General comments: Bebe Confort Infant carriers are recommended to be used for a maximum of 2 hours a day so any journey beyond that is either impossible or risks damage to baby's spine. This is one of only two manufacturers which does a carrycot which can be fitted into the car. The separate car fixing kit consists of a soft head bumper for the inside of the carrycot, a padded waistbelt and two clips which fasten to the seatbelts in ANY car.
It allows baby to sleep flat whereas our prem-born baby looked most uncomfortable in other car seats. We found we were able to continue our pre-baby commitments and take her with us without disrupting her routine. She has even attended a district Cub Scout sports day and slept through the lot!
We have found that now she is getting older she wants to sit up more but cannot do so for long so we don't want to switch completely to using the pram-base with the push-chair seat. I believe more recent models have an adjustable back-rest to make the carrycot last longer.
It does, however, mean that this model can be bought at a very reasonable price and is still well worth the money. If I were having any more I would choose it again.
