Good Points: Well constructed god for sport or nature, fantastic value for money.very tuff bit of glass!
Bad Points: Motor noise & no stablisation but for the money what do you exspect
General comments: a great budget lens if your fast on the draw this lens is fun,no barel distortion not that i noticed.married well with a nikon d70s d 80.
the secret is not to go to fast with the zoom as it will pull dust into the body like a piston as in all zoom lenses.
a must for the price.the hood does help with the flare but in some photos it,s nice to see the sun pop.
personaly i like the motor noise and the wildlife does not seem to mind.
get one for the bag 10 out of 10 for the dolars

A Macro possibility is very useful, sharpness is good throughout the range, zoom ring goes harder about 200-300.
Very good lenses for the price. I prefer MF ta AF so I am not disappointed in very small speed of AF.
