I have been scanning my negatives with a cheap scanner I purchased for £30 and the quality isn't as good as I would have liked. As my children's photos were all taken before digital I wanted to get them all on a disc to make a book. So I decided to take them to ASDA and get them scanned properly for better quality. Result: Viewing the Asda scanned picture next to the same one done on my cheap scanner.......Asda one is totally pixelated. The one I did myself enlarges to a far greater size… Read Full Review

I received the photobook I ordered today and can't fault the quick service, it has arrived within 2 days of placing the order. It is a gift for my daugters 21st. Unfortunately text is missing from one of the pages. I reviewed my order online to see if I had accidentally deleted the text, but found it is still very clearly there. There customer service response is that is has been lost in cyber space and therefore it is not their fault. Therefore if you use Asda and submit your finished… Read Full Review

Have used Asda before for the odd print for a frame or present because it is instant and cheaper than Boots, I have concluded it is poorer quality and its worth paying 9p extra in Boots for a better print. I am a semi pro, graduate photographer and my prints are properly edited in Photoshop and should print beautifully but on Asda instant booth they come out washed out and lacking detail. So much so I said I didn't want to pay for it and got them to throw it away. In Boots instant booth they… Read Full Review

The quality of the paper and the print is excellent at asda but they are far too dark, I would say around 4 stops worth which is a HUGE amount. I've never seen it so bad anywhere else. It's annoying that I spend ages in Photoshop colouring my photos, only for them to come out completely different. They need to provide colour profiles for us to use.
Other than that the service was pretty quick and staff were fairly friendly but it is not enough to make up for so way out colours.
Avoid until… Read Full Review

I complained about the Asda Photo prints and over a long time i got told that the manager would get back to me nobody has contacted me i phoned up about 15 times speaking to all different people they kept on saying some body would phone me. I have now been told that nothing is being done as they cant find any record of me sending the prints back even though i sent them recorded delivery and i got told in February that they received the prints and that they signed for them - they are now… Read Full Review
