We ordered wedding thank you cards from the Asda photo website. The first lot were only dispatched 7 days after order (the website promises 5-7 days from order to delivery) - however, they didn't turn up! They made us wait a week and then offered to re-do the order. Again, dispatch took 7 days and when they finally arrived, 4 days later, the print quality was very poor, colour saturation made the image really dark and they were very worn around the edges. Plus, the carton was graffitied on (not sure if by them or royal mail). I will NEVER use Asda again. They should stick to selling cheap groceries.

The quality of the paper and the print is excellent at asda but they are far too dark, I would say around 4 stops worth which is a HUGE amount. I've never seen it so bad anywhere else. It's annoying that I spend ages in Photoshop colouring my photos, only for them to come out completely different. They need to provide colour profiles for us to use.
Other than that the service was pretty quick and staff were fairly friendly but it is not enough to make up for so way out colours.
Avoid until th ...- Read Guest's review (99 words)

The machines that do s/d and c/d photos in my local store are switched off at 3pm on sunday afternoon but the photo shop stays open till 4pm. I wanted a two day service at 3.05pm and they said the one hour service could not be done. So why not put a notice on the screen saying this instead of wasting my time driving 12 miles after making a phone call and being told the photo service was open till 4pm. I think they should train their staff to say 3pm for one hour service stops.- Read Guest's review (101 words)

I have used ASDA twice now for developing and printing of my colour 35MM film and both times the colour saturation was way too high giving the prints a dark look. I have had my films developed at other companies and never had this problem before so I can only assume it is poor work by the operatives.
The resolution on the CD is poor, enlarging from the CD on a PC results in pixellation.
Might be an idea to just use ASDA to develop the film and get your selected prints done elsewhere or scan the ...- Read Guest's review (122 words)

I am a graphic designer and would never get my films processed on Fujifilm at Asda again. I felt the colour levels were over the top making pictures look too dark or bleached out (I have a good 35mm film camera!).
When I loaded the CD I was amazed at how poor the image quality seemed.- Read ldowding's review (77 words)

I complained about the Asda Photo prints and over a long time i got told that the manager would get back to me nobody has contacted me i phoned up about 15 times speaking to all different people they kept on saying some body would phone me. I have now been told that nothing is being done as they cant find any record of me sending the prints back even though i sent them recorded delivery and i got told in February that they received the prints and that they signed for them - they are now saying ...- Read Guest's review (112 words)

Everything I ordered from ASDA Photos was of a high standard. Asda customer care is the best i have received, I found them very polite and helpful. I always receive my order on time.
I cant stand it when customers don't place their order correctly and then blame the asda staff.- Read Guest's review (52 words)

I placed an order on asda photo's website for a poster and 2 prints. These were for an anniversary. Nothing arrived after a week and a half. I tried emailing them about it but it just bounced back. I phoned them up. They had no details of my order on their system. I was told to reorder. Nothing. I was told to upload the photo again and reorder. Nothing. I was told to delete the old photos and start again. Nothing. I was promised a call back regarding the issue. Nothing. And when I' ...- Read drraggy's review (119 words)

I used Asda to get some enlargements of pictures I was planning to frame. They certainly were quick and one of the cheapest providers I could find. As they use Fuji, I was pretty confident as I've had Fuji products before.
Unfortunately, although the print quality is good, the colour management is very poor. They don't provide an ICC profile either, so the colour and contrast you see on our screen is seldom what is printed.
I couldn't frame the pictures due to the severe colour difference, and ...- Read john7397's review (157 words)

The equipment and the paper quality (Fuji crystal archive type II) are good. The variances in print quality however can sometimes be quite drastic. This I've found out is simply dependant on the lab operator(s), who generally have a lot of control over the prints that come into their hands. Which brings me to the Asda Barrow Photo Centre, I've been quite impressed by some of the work there, and it's quite simply because of their main lab operator. And here I'll stop my story. All I can say is fi ...- Read Brian B's review (154 words)

Asda have stopped doing 12x10 & 15x10 on the digital prints and the staff have now idea why.
I met a young lady working Fuji in the store and gave her my details some weeks ago and she said Fuji would get back to me in about a week, 2 months ago, and I'm still waiting for a reason.- Read David009's review (70 words and 1 comment)

Asda Photo Shop provide great service at a great price. Their labs are found in most of the larger stores and give a 1 hour photo processing service plus a 2 day service so you can actully drop your negatives off and collect them when you have finished your shopping.
The labs have uptodate fuji equipment and carryout various quility checks to ensure your photos are the best possible quality. In addition to 35mm and Aps Processing they provide printing for enlargments, black and white negs, sli ...- Read Lou's review (131 words)
