“Never use it”

I just spent 3 Hours making a personalised calendar for my Nan for Christmas. 3 Hours of it freezing, not working, things disappearing and becoming really frustrated. It has now freezed completely, if I touch it, I'm just going to lose everything. I've just read another review about the calendar saying that it's flimsy and comes with no hook. I've just wasted 3Hours of my Sunday to make this for my Nan. Next time I'll be using Vistaprints, I used them before and it was brilliant. Never using… Read Full Review

“Avoid boots photo service”

Avoid at all costs - my photo gift order was never received, despite after the first time of it going missing them re-ording it. I even had a voicemail from boots telling me to collect my order from store as it had arrived, but when I arrived it was nowhere to be seen. “Very poor service - photos are fine”

I wanted photos really quickly so ordered on line to collect in store. I did not have problems with the web site, not the slickest site but workable. Estimate for cillection was 9.46am but said I should wait for an email. Noon and still no email I phoned the store to be told they had been ready for hours! For any one thinking of going to boots to print photos for calendars collages etc please don't bother wasting your money. Had a calender done for me for Xmas turns out boots printed the same picture on most of the months just in different positions . Had a total of only 3 different pics for the whole calender. Took or back explained the situation (Woolwich) branch women tried to blame the person who done it for me as a present. “Lost a day trying”

Spent 2 hours this morning online trying to do a collage of pics for Mothers day. After wrestling with the website and having to re-start 4 times, I relented and went to the online checkout (I wanted to pick up at my local Boots in Calcot, Reading) only to be informed that it would cost a further £1.95 to deliver. “Photo calendar expensive and poorly designed”

Although the staff were helpful my purchase of new year wall calendars including my own pics was an expensive disappointment. WHY? They cost 15 pounds each. The product is flimsy with no hook to hang it off the wall included. I have to make holes. The photos came out blurred in places and the choice of background options was limited. “Acrylic photo print poor quality”

Bought an acrylic panel print and am very disappointed with the quality. The print shows banding and looks like it was printed with a cheap inkjet on cheap paper. Paper print has been poorly trimmed after being stuck to acrylic panel. Didn't pay full price and it looks OK from a distance so can't be bothered with the hastle of seeking a refund. I wish i had read the reviews before choosing this company as we are sorely disappointed with the wishy washy hues of what were vibrant colours of the mauritian silks,sunsets and landscapes and the bling of dubai.The deep blue skies and shiny skyscrapers are dull and the worst quality ever.Weve wasted 16 pounds and will just have to have the lot redone elsewhere.Particularly upset as this was a one off trip of a lifetime… Read Full Review

Boots are a front for Snapfish. It has been impossible to speak to anyone about my photo books. They were supposedly dispatched 30 April and I still have not received them. Delivery time was promised at 2-4 days. They were in memoriam books of a dear friend and I had wanted to give them at the service. “Online photo service is appauling”

I would strongly advise anyone who is considering using Boots online photo service to avoid it like the plague! It is absolutely awful. I spent 4.5 hours at the weekend trying to work through the complicated online system. I needed a fast turn around. I found a store near to where I live which offered 1 hour photo service. Boots use snapfish and if theres a problem pass the buck to them. Snapfish are terrible - they can;t even tell you when your pictures are ready for collection. Who know when I'll get my prints! They certainly don;t. Absolutely abysmal service and the photo processing software is unwieldy and slow to use. Just awful. Avoid if you value your time and money… Read Full Review

“Boots photo - utter rubbish, unhelpful customer service”

I ordered some photos and booked the new 1 hour service collecting in store. Went to collect the next morning, told they were not there, I asked for a refund and they said I would have to do it online as the phone number for that was out of order. When I looked at my order details again the collection date was given as 6 days later! “Lost my order...TWICE!”

I ordered a photo album and selected store pick up. After two weeks of waiting and a call to Boots, it transpired that they had no idea where the album was and so they ordered it again. They were very proud of the fact that they were doing this 'free of charge' as if it was something I should be praising them for. I went to Boots The chemist in Manchester to print some pictures and this was the first time I used their photo service. I had my baby with me as a single mum and alone I take him with me all the time. I went there, asked to print all the pictures from my two USB sticks. “Creased, indented and stained photos!”

This was my first time ordering photo prints online from Boots and although the service was good, my 200+ photos arrived with the majority of them all covered in random crinkles and dent marks! To the reverse were also brown stain marks! It looked like the person dealing with my order had carelessly pinched each photo whilst packaging it. “very poor quality photo book purchased from Boots Photo ”

I wanted to make a 12" x 12" signature photo book of my husband's life with his nearest family. It seemed a very good idea to use Boots, as an established and well-known company. I did not check any reviews, because I believed in its general reputation as a good old company. It took me a long time to select photos and add a great deal of text.
