After the absolute joke (and now found to be in breach of the Advertising Code of Conduct) operations of Vistaprint's photo calendar, I tried out the in-shop photo calendar services of Boots and I have to say I could not be happier. I didn't really use much in the way of customisation, I just wanted a simple photo calendar to give to mum as a gift for Christmas as she likes looking at the photos I take. Have been attempting half the day to create a boots photo calendar. The online design tool is great, lots of options to personalise etc. However, I then tried to pay for the calendar. Mistake. I enter my email address to log in and try and pay, apparently I have an account. Fine. Did you make your account before August 2012? Yes, I didn't even know I had an account. I am very happy with my photo book, I ordered an 11x8 custom cover photo book and 2 magnets. The package arrived perfectly at the address without any issues and the book is amazing! Not recommended.

Every roll of film has come back the same "SCRATCHES ALL OVER", this is not a case of using the same camera more than one was used, ( nikon f-100, nikon f5, nikon 35ti and olympus om10 and contax t3. I wish Boots would sort this problem, i no longer use them because of the scratched negatives i have received in the past, it may not happen with all branches but it does in Carlisle. (read more)

I am not very happy at all with my Boots Photos, as they cropped the prints which ruined all the photos. I also found that the prices online not same as instore. On a plus side they do do good quality prints. (read more)
