Took one disposable camera in to Maidstone Snappy Snaps to be developed. It was a Kodak 37 exposure disposable camera. Before handing it over I asked if disposables would be a problem - absolutely not I was told.
Paid £11, turned up at the end of the day and got some really awful pictures. Very muted and washy colours, scratches and marks on the photos due to marks on the negative from poor film handling, got photos put on a CD also but after inspection they are all low res jpegs - not much use to anyone, they have also cut up the film so I cannot take the roll elsewhere to be properly printed.
Finally, the service in the shop was also poor. The woman I spoke to was polite but I had to wait for ages because only one person was behind the counter whilst the other 2 staff members were trying to put up new window displays. Annoying standing there for 7 or 8 minutes while two staff members ignore you.
Will not use again and would advise against others using also.

I would like to begin with the fact that I have been a Snappy Snaps loyal customer for 8 years. Unfortunately, their London Bridge branch had to close down. So, after coming back from a wonderful holiday in Tunisia, I took all 13 rolls of film to the Clapham Junction branch.
When I came to collect the prints, they simply looked awful. The color and contrast balance was all wrong. The images of the desert we took in the evening were all pale, bleached out and colorless.
I mentioned this to Snap ...- Read Guest's review (176 words)

I normally travel to London to get my films processed but thought i'd try Snappy snaps windsor as it was nearer.
I wish I didnt.
The negs came back with finger prints all over them, scratches and a white powder.
The prints had the marks from negs enlarged on every print.
When I asked why there are marks on negs I was told its a fault with the film.
Kodak professional film dont have faults.
I said so wheres the finger prints on negs come from, she said its when she was handling film.
I asked for ...- Read Guest's review (167 words)

The store manager at Snappy Snaps refused to issue a refund when product was failed to be delivered within a week of the date they said it would be completed by. He claimed that he was not required to refund the customer and when they asked of legal recourse he said that noone is going to sue him for an amount under £100.- Read taka1's review (63 words)

Went to Leadenhall Market branch of Snappy Snaps. Was promised two A2 size prints of pop Art, only one was done, looked awful quality, changed the features and shape of face of print, I thought it looked ridiculous! Asked for portrait and gave me landscape. Pre paid £120 and now I know why they insist customers pre-pay as I would not have paid if I'd have seen what they made of my prints after. I found them to seem most unhelpful to me.
Took three days longer than they told me (to produ ...- Read Susiechoosie's review (153 words)

Just got a new Canon G9 (it's brilliant), took some shots, messed about with them with Canon's supplied software, took a set to Costco (yes, Costco), 9p per print, total rubbish, washed out, horrible, not like they looked on my pc screen - tried Snappy Snaps, 20p each, specified no balancing or cropping, and the prints were true and vibrant.- Read nipperread's review (68 words)

I had passport photos taken at Snappy Snaps Cambridge. They claim that they do passport photos and know the specifications required by most countries. I told them my country, Brazil, and they claimed to know the specific requirements.
However, my country's consulate did not accept the photos, because the proportions were wrong.
Important detail: Snappy Snaps had charged me £17 for three 5x7 pictures, claiming the high price was due to the unusual size.
So when I went back to Snap ...- Read cvg20's review (141 words)

I've had some passport picture taken at the Leadenhall market branch of Snappy Snaps. When I used the Post Office check and send service, my application was returned on the grounds that the pictures had yellow Kodak prints on the back of the paper, while it had to be white. When I raised the issue in the shop, staff were very unhelpful, refusing the give a refund, unless they see a letter from the Post Office. I didn't want to make a scene, and I just advised them they shouldn't advertise the se ...- Read Nadeto's review (102 words)

I used the Leeds branch of Snappy Snaps. I needed some special prints doing off old negs and these guys couldn't have been more helpful, nothing was too much trouble and the results were simply fantastic!!! I thoroughly recommend Snappy Snaps if you care about getting good quality prints and super service.- Read Chris Stevens's review (60 words)

Gave two B&W rolls (Ilford FP5 of the same film roll) for processing in Snappy Snaps. Both films were used during a wedding. The photos from first film used in my camera (Konica Hexar) have scratches and white spots, photos look like washed. The photos from second film (loaded in the camera just after the first film) are just fine.
When I asked about it, the only replied I had was "I don't know".
In my opinion, a bad film handling during film development.- Read Fran6co's review (129 words)

I have always taken my photo's to Snappy Snaps to be developed because they offer free white borders on each photo, which helps when you frame the photo's, plus they offer a matt (rather than awful glossy) finish.
They are rather pricey - approx £10-12 per film depending on how many exposures there are.
But I'd definitely say they are worth every penny if you care about the images you have taken.- Read Isobel78's review (74 words)

The Leadenhall Market in London branch of Snappy Shots printed some awful quality prints (white faces, pink coke bottle labels, half images), and when I went to complain the manager shouted at me, threw my photos across the counter and ordered me out of his shop. He said he would give me a refund if I returned with better prints from elsewhere, which I did the next day, and a refund never materialised. Not impressed.- Read clobo2000's review (91 words)

I had to take some special passport photographs and Snappy Snaps did a good job of it. Many other places did not shoot this size and the ones that did charged almost three to four times the money charged here. The quality was also good.- Read Flow's review (55 words)

A novel use of technology - Times Online
Alternatively, the buyer can get it from a printing and binding machine rather like the current digital-photo processors. The latter method is the obvious one, and Starbucks is indeed looking at it.
