Good Points: Excellent optical. Very sharp and very good contrast.
Bad Points: Slow shutter speed and no aperture priority.
General comments: Great camera with very good lens for snap and travel photography. Excellent optical. Very sharp and very good contrast.

I hoped this would function as an easy to carry-around replacement for my other Leicas and Canon SLR. I also made a gross mistake by overlooking the totally unsatisfactory 250/s shutter speed before buying. This is a Leica that I cannot recommend because it lacks the essential functions and is too unreliable. The old Minox GT is far more trustworthy. Maybe it's time for a digital?

With the Leica Minilux Zoom, you just switch on point & shoot and it has a good view finder and clear lens. The flash cycle time is a bit slow but if you want a compact film camera, this is the one.
