Good Points: The phone is very attractive and stylish.
It has a decent camera, video recording, and it has a sound recorder. It is quite easy to use. and there are a variety of applications.

Bad Points: The battery life is considerably short.
    It isn't bluetooth enabled.
Video recordings last a maximum of 30 seconds.

General comments: The Siemens SL65 mobile phone was made concentrating on appearance rather than technical ability, maybe implying it is a phone suited more to women. The phone is small which makes texting awkward. There are better phones available, and in this case looks are deceiving.

The Siemens SL65 is a great looking mobile phone packed full of fun features. The camera is great and the phone is really easy to use. Sadly the battery life is terrible. I found it only lasted about 2 days. The buttons on the keypad are also preety poor as one of mine fell out. I do like this phone, but for someone who uses their phone as much as me I wouldn't choose it again. If I could time travel and go back in time I wouldn't pick this phone.

I have had the Siemens SL65 camera phone about three months and feel I made a really good choice. The camera is about the only thing I miss my old phone for (Sagem MYV-65 - awesome camera for a phone camera) and if that is my only gripe I've done OK.

The battery life could be better but perhaps if I didn't yap so much I wouldn't suffer in that area so I can't tell if it's me or the phone.

I got a stylish little pouch case for it from Siemens direct and am very happy with it all now I have ...

I had the SL55 before and loved it because it was so small. This is basically an updated version of that phone. Still as sleek, compact and cool but now with more features. The design is first rate and I would recommend it if that's something that's important to you. The sliding motion to open the phone is innovative, elegant and quite unusual. Certainly turns a few heads in the pub. Lacks a video or MP3 player option, but the camera is of a moderately high quality and the photos look good on th ...

Now on my second SL65 as original needed replaced (refused to power on!) When I first saw the SL65 I had to have it. In company it was a real talking point, not the reason to buy a phone though! My phone is for heavy business use and therefore I need to rely on it, not so with this one, the phone will turn itself off when sliding open, answering a call, in your pocket etc. Tested by supplier and returned with no problem found! Keypad no longer illuminates which is very frustrating when making an ...

After owning Nokia's for the past 7 years I though I'd try this Siemens SL65. It looked great, seemed to have some decent features (except for the lack of Bluetooth) and seemed a bargain being free on a cheap off-peak tariff.

My biggest mistake was not trying the phone in a store first. As soon as it had charged I found it fiddly to slide the keypad out with my large fingers. Even worse was trying to use the 1, 2 and 3 buttons at the top of the pad. The screen was too close to them.

    Onto t ...

As the first phone other than a Nokia for about 3 years I was really worried the Siemens SL65 would be a bad move, but with recent Nokias looking so pants had to go for it!

And I wasn't upset. The phone looks excellent (mine is in black) and functionality is excellent, just as easy to use a Nokia, although take a little time to adjust.

Camera is good, themes wallpapers and java games make the phone really cool and will keep me playing with it for a long time. The fitness thingie is cool as ...

I have got the Siemens SL65 in place of a Nokia 6820. I think it was a great move. The sl65 is smaller and has a much better camera quality than most nokia I have had. There is also more memory on the Siemens-30mins non stop video recording, 575 images can be stored and 160 audio mins on the voice recorder. Even though it is a Siemens its still simple to use. It also has a few good quality java games built in to keep you occuppied whilst waiting for a doctor. It has a keep fit tutor in the app ...
