Good Points: Total clarity. Punch. Speed. Expansive sound stage.
Bad Points: Can verge towards brightness. Not cheap. Will highlight any hardware shortcomings.
General comments: Recently upgraded to Kimber's 'Silver Streak' from VDH's 'The Bay'. Overall a worthwhile upgrade, most impressive is the wide staging, instruments are easier to pinpoint, and sound much 'larger/wider' than before. Speed and punch are also much improved. Quiet bits are also much quieter, and there appears to be less compression than with the old cable.
Only downers are the bass performance, although tighter, doesn't appear to delve as low, and the whole system has made a shift towards a 'brighter' sound. (Although this may just be a more realistic rendition of the material, without any artificial 'weighting'). Thoroughly worth an audition, but if your system is already a bit on the bright side, you should probably look elsewhere.
