Recently upgraded to Kimber's 'Silver Streak' from VDH's 'The Bay'. Overall a worthwhile upgrade, most impressive is the wide staging, instruments are easier to pinpoint, and sound much 'larger/wider' than before. Speed and punch are also much improved. Quiet bits are also much quieter, and there appears to be less compression than with the old cable.
Only downers are the bass performance, although tighter, doesn't appear to delve as low, and the whole system has made a shift towards a 'brighter' sound. (Although this may just be a more realistic rendition of the material, without any artificial 'weighting'). Thoroughly worth an audition, but if your system is already a bit on the bright side, you should probably look elsewhere.

I completely agree with this review, particularly about the bass. If it had just a little more wieght behind it, it would be a fantastic interconnect. Thus depending on your music tastes this cable could be the one for you. Classical music it is king in my ears; electronic yup its still up there sounding fantastic but the bass slightly lets it down.
