I fitted Jet Tec compatible ink cartridges to my Epsom SX215. Black, yellow and cyan work but magenta dosent. When magenta is fitted it corrupts my printer which then says none of the ink cartridges are compatible. Take the Jet Tec magenta cartridge out and fit any other make magenta and it charges up fine and the printer works correctly. I told Jet Tec this and they claim that they have no record of anyone else ever having this type of problem with their cartridges. By the way; I tried four... (read more)

I have been using Jet-Tec cartridges for my SX100 over the last year and I'm very happy with them. The print quality is as good as Epson and they are £4.99 as opposed to £9.95 for Epson. They don't last quite as long but are still better value overall. If I can get discounted Epson cartridges I buy them, if I can't I buy Jet-Tec. The "cartridge not recognised" warning that some refer to simply means that the ink is out. It clearly states this on the inclosed leaflet! Also, I disagree that... (read more)

I have read many reviews on jet-tec ink. I have used it for years with no problems. I use T0801/2/3/4/5/6 in my printer. For those having problems with colour matching try setting up your monitor and printer with a calibration system i.e. with a Colormunki. For those who only print occasionally you will find if you turn your printer on every other day so it can run through its mini clean program you will find that you will not have the problem of dry printer heads. I hope this will help some... (read more)

I bought 3 packs of "epson compatible" ink cartridges for use on my Epson Stylus DX4450 and have had many printing problems. I have re-installed the black ink cartridge several times but could not produce a print of documents in black. Has anyone found and resolved similar problems?
The cartridges were certainly much cheaper than Epson, but if they don't work, what is the point in buying them.

My CX6400 has stopped printing the yellow and black inks so I took it to a Epson service shop. They said that only Epson cartridges contain cleaner fluid which is necessary in order to not clog up the printer heads.
By using compatible, these are really damaging my printer in the long term. Sellers and retailers especially the supermarkets should warn against this potential damage and at the very least less you alongside some cleaner fluid cartridges to run through your printer. Yes,...

I bought a mulitpack for an hp all in one printer and it now the printer doesnt work, all I get is the error message, "Remove and check cartridge" it printed one and a half sheets of A4.I rang jetpac who told me to clean the contacts, this never wored either. I dont know whether to buy more cartridges in the hope that that is the cause, or buy a new printer. I certainly wouldn't reccomend them. (read more)

Much cheaper than the orignal, and just as good quality. Lots of printing with Christmas just gone and photo's are looking great. Last just as long as the original, if not longer. Absolutley no need to pay the original prices when there's just as good an alternative available. (read more)

I have used all the compatible brands out there I could find and i have to say that they are all as bad as each other, except one (projet) the ink quality was 10x better and very close to epson orignals.
if I was reviewing pro jet they would get 5 stars
well back to jet tech cheap last long poor quality bad value squeez them to get all the ink out
it would be nice if jet tech told you that its not photo quality ink for your PHOTO PRINTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent replacement for the Epson original. I have just finished printing a portrait with no colour cast whatsoever and the print colour is true to what is showing on the monitor (which is calibrated). Very good skin tones and nice blacks. I have used jettec inks for a year or two now and have had no problems with them especially the price.
I have given 5 * for longevity if that means the cartridge, if it means the prints then I dont know as yet.

I have been using jet-tec compatible cartridge for epson stylus about a year ordered several times now for an occasional printer. It is ok for black and white printing or writing with colours but photographs look terrible, the colour quality is appalling all the photos end up with a pink overall tone even if you have photos in the snow for example. I have decided not to use these again as when I have wanted decent photos etc printed I ended up taking them to a shop to get printed. Just... (read more)

I installed a set of Jettec cartridges in my Canon Pixma IP4200 and printed two copies of a test card onto plain paper. Marked banding appeared on the second print so I ran the cleaning routine twice, deep cleaning once and then decided to print my test card onto a phoe glossy page alongside the dsame image printed with Canon inks. The banding remained very apparent in areas of even colour and there was a strong magenta colour cast.
Probably acceptable for general office printing but...

After a nightmare time with cheap compatibles that ruined one printer I grudgingly bought JetTec for its replacement. They work. No difference between Epson genuine and these for my SX400. Only thing is you must use all four cartridges - mixing them with other types causes confusion for the machine! Only con- in years of using JetTec the extra life has never been released and I've used two types of Epson printers. I've read the enclosed instructions, seen the official website... (read more)

Used the Jet-Tec Compatible Cartridge for Epson Stylus in Epson R265.
Frequently had to change out half-used Jet Tec carts as the printer insisted they were empty. Never managed to release any extra-life.
I did find a technique for releasing the extra-life on the Jet Tec website, but it would have been nice if they could have put this on the blister pack as well.
Had free carts from Jet Tec to replace wasted ones - even sent one back to them for analysis as I'm not convinced the chip is working...

The Jet-Tec cartridges I have seem to be completely rammed full of ink - too much ink! As soon as I unwrapped one to install, the nozzle leaked everywhere including inside my printer head and all over my fingers.
Print quality in my opinion was bad, too much ink seemed to be coming out. The printer head didn't seem to be able to cope with the excess. When I removed the cartridge, it was swimming in black ink and i needed to clean the print head thoroughly.

I so wish these were a viable substitute for the expensive Epson inks but they're not. If you want to print out photographs good enough for framing or commercial use, Jettec isn't adequate in my opinion. Everything is reduced to toffee angel delight brown. I have spent hours trying to make an adequate color profile but the absent blues just can't be supplemented. (read more)

The last batch of 3 would not work in my 1270, they were designated empty, but were full and new. The supplier replaced them and I have just tried one of these, and it was the same as the others, and did not work.
Other compatibles and epson inks work ok. Could it be my printer at fault?
I would not have thought so.

I was able to use the extra ink, and they seem to last forever.

I am currently considering (whilst my first epson originals are still full!) other non OEM inks for my Epson Stylus photo R220. I'm interested in your claim of longeavity at 10 out of 10. Would you say the colour is really the same as the Epson originals and lasts as long as durabrite cartridges?
Sorry if this seems as though I'm questioning your review as that is truly not the intention - I just thought that with the benefit of 3 years experience and prints with Jet-Tec, you are best placed to comment.
Thanks

Sorry, I could not comment on the durabrite cartridges as my only experience is with the standard chipped black and tri-colour cartridges used by my stylus colour 680. However, at the time of purchase my printer was 'high quality' and is still producing good print outs (colour, photo and B&W) using the jet-tec cartridges.

I had exactly the same problem last night I contacted JET TEC but they didnt offer any solution only to say they couldnt find any record of purchase despite me having a number of used and unused cartons of them. I did have the same problem with their HP all in one cartridges as well I have lost about 4 in total so for me not very reliable.
