    This is the best holiday I have ever been on, the staff were great, hotel always clean, beds changed everyday. The food was out of this world, so much to chose from. Loads of activities. The animation team are the best, they were always getting other people involved in activities. The only thing I would of preferred would be to have more activities through the day. Absolutely amazing time. I would recommend the hotel Club Akti in Kardemena.

    On the whole the hotel was a nice and pleasant place, this is also very family orientated. Found the hotel was a bit German orientated (food, beer, also all daytime entertainment was in German). After some damage I felt I got charged excessively, we even got charged for dirty towels! We were very close to the beach, our room was closer to the beach then it was the pool!     My partner and I decided to stop with 28 other guests during our wedding. We spent 2 weeks at the Hotel Club Akti in Kardamena and it was fantastic! Everyone was very helpful, and the rooms were spot on. Daily entertainment was a pleasure to take part in. It is a little out of the resort, but the brisk hour walk and 7 Euro taxi back was great.

    My fella and I went to the Akti Club in Kardamena in August 2004, and we have just booked to go back for a week at the end of May this year (2006). That must mean it's OK, I have NEVER known my fella to like anywhere enough to return to it! All in all, we had a fantastic holiday. The hotel room, although basic (as is the custom in most Greek hotels), was very clean and had all we needed, including the essential air conditioning.     I enjoyed my time atHotel Club Akti but there was not a lot to do. The staff at Akti club were very helpful.

    The beach at the Hotel Club Akti in Kos was not sandy as advertised, but very rocky and gritty, and deep very quickly. It was a 30 - 45 minute walk to the nearest shops in Kardamena, and the buses were not very regular.
    Sorry but I would not recommend this hotel for all inclusive.

    The food was excellent at the Hotel Club Akti and catered for all types. The hotel in general was well presented the rooms were basic but still adequate. The beach was gritty and hard to walk on. Disappointed that the snorkelling equipment was none existent. What was there was not much the girl in charge said we have been asking for weeks for equipment.
    This is not a fault of the hotel but the young ones coming back from night clubs wake every one up usually at about 4-5am.

    Hotel Club Akti - Excellent holiday. I can't believe all the bad reviews!!! I read loads & was really anxious about going, it just shows that people are moaners. Me & my guy have just come back from a week there & we loved it!! There was loads for younger kids to do, they seemed to really enjoy it! For the more adventurous, there are the awesome watersports literally metres away! You can get to Kardemena on the courtesy bus, which runs about every 10 mins! You can see the town from the apartment ...

    Just returned from Hotel Club Akti, June 2005. Travelled with wife and two 14 year olds. We've been on several AI holidays and this was the most disappointing.
    Food was good, but often the restaurant ran out of certain things, or there were delays in keeping it stocked up. Then when what you were waiting for arrived, the other food may have all gone, or it was cold on your plate. You expect this to happen occasionally, but it was a daily occurrence at the Akti.

    The staff at the Hotel Club Akti were very helpful and friendly. I felt the rooms were basic but comfortable, although the maids came every day to clean and change the bedding - I felt the rooms still could have been cleaner.
    The food at the hotel was well presented but was very much the same and became boring. This made us not much want to eat in the evening. The all-inclusive snacks for the children however were a godsend - as our children could have a snack as they wanted, and the drinks too ...

    It is our second family visit to the Hotel Club Akti. It is an all inclusive hotel (first visit in 2002). Its a very relaxing holiday. Plenty for the kids to do in complete safety. One of the most relaxing holidays I have ever had.
