I had a really really great time on holiday. I stayed at the Villa Romana hotel, the hotel was very accommodating, they have all the facilities you need and accessible for wheel chairs and pushchairs. When you first enter the hotel there is a very friendly security guard that says hi and greets you in this way each time he sees you even asking you how you are doing and what you have been up to that day. The hotel has an indoor and outdoor pool although the pools are non heated they are a good si ...

All round, I would recommend the Hotel Villa Romana as one of the best in Salou. Although, you would think that by now the staff in the restaurant would have picked up the basics of English. The girl in the shop has mastered it though and can actually hold a conversation. No access to our room until 1.30pm but well worth the wait, excellent bar area, night time entertainment as usual, don't expect anything different. Abba has 3 members and all these years there's me thinking there was 4, oh well ...

Myself, my wife and my son went in May, it was a good clean hotel with good service and entertainment every night. The hotel is a walk away from Potaventura, the beach and the town centre. I enjoyed the holiday and would go again.

The Hotel Villa Romana is an excellent Hotel and we had a wonderful holiday. We always try to book a holiday with a Kids club but this was the first that actually had a dedicated room in the hotel by the pool. There were toys, games, colouring stuff and two young Spanish ladies looking after them, they loved it and it was open and staffed until 11pm. (closed between 2.30pm and 8pm though).

I have no complaints about the hotel except that I sometimes found the food a little too salty and the ...

If you are looking for a 4 star hotel with an excellent price/quality ration go for the Hotel Villa Romana. It is a clean, well kept basic solid 4 star hotel.
The quality of the offered food is good, the rooms are nice and clean, and all facilities are there.
If you look for a fancy and luxury hotel, maybe you need to be prepared to look else where but pay a lot more (my last three hotel experiences where 5 star or 4star deluxe hotels which offered more luxury but where also at least double ...

We really enjoyed Salou and the Hotel Villa Romana, so much so we are booked to return next June, and probably would return beyond that time too. the kids club was excellent, we have two children, and the food was good, especially the seafood nights! the resort of Salou great.
lots of karaoke bars and shopping!!
the beach is beautiful and the sea lovely.

Our holiday in Salou was fantastic with something to do for everyone. Hotel Villa Romana certainly lived up to its 4 stars and we as a family would certainly return. It is situated in a central location for easy access to Port-aventura, and the local pubs and shopping.

Salou, Hotel Villa Romana - The hotel is certainly worth its four stars. There was a problem with the swimming pool, and to compensate we could use the swimming pool of a hotel nearby and we got cava (spanish champagne) with every meal.

Being the victim of a crime in the local railway station at Salou, and having to attend the police station I was surprised to be told of the extremely high volume of crime in the Salou area. I realise that no one wants to have bad publicity, but, some signs drawing visitors attention to the need to take precautions against crime would in my opinion be a good public service
