I ordered 4 tickets which were supposed to be delivered re secure delivery. The tickets however were delivered to a completely different address in another village and post code. The tickets were not retrieved by the courier and 4 days before the concert I am now told that they will not be replaced under any circumstances as they were sent by a secure method. What a complete joke! I have now been offered a refund, which to add insult to injury, I have to allow 4-6 weeks to receive. I am... (read more)

I'm really pleased with how it worked out. I bought tickets for Glasvegas in London and got the tickets to my home in Sweden about a week later. Was a bit worried about the many reviews who said the page is a complete joke. I didn't experience that with the usual order. Altho I did send a message to their support wondering about the delivery to Sweden from England. Still haven't seen any replies after a few days. So I guess the critic they've recieved about the customersupport can be true.... (read more)

I have booked tickets with gigs and tours several times now and on both occasions their website has failed on its users which I think is down to the fact that it cannot handle mass sales. But most importantly it has to be the customer service that is absolutely unacceptable, mainly because they do not offer any over phone support even when you ask for it they will jus refer you to the FAQ page and trust me there's no answers worth anything there. The reason I gave it two stars and not... (read more)

BEWARE. To me this place appears to be completely not trustworthy. Their website couldn't connect to VeriSign, they didn't have a phone number clearly shown on their website, all looks rather fishy. Who do they think they are that I'll try again to enter my credit card info? And their transaction fee is for what?? I'm so glad my transaction didn't go through. Just went to ticketmaster and got my tickets there. Ridiculous amateurish nonsense. (read more)

Thes guys are scammers and crooks. My gig was cancelled so I returned my tickets for a refund. I was charged a £10 transaction fee and had to listen to hold music for hours at 10p per minute whilst trying (unsuccessfully) to resolve the deceit. When I asked them how the fee could possibly be justified they said I had used their website. (read more)

Hi All, I very recently purchased 2 tickets to see the Fratellis in April 2013 (I booked them on December the 2nd/3rd). However, silly me, clicked on the wrong date and booked up 2 tickets for the Birmingham venue instead of the Manchester venue. Easily solved I thought, I will just send a polite email requesting that they change the tickets. Simples! No. You won't get a response to your email. There is no contact telephone number on the gigsandtours.com website (that I could find). What... (read more)

This firm is a nightmare and impossible to deal with...They have treated me (so called customer)like s**t.. They will not post out my tickets and keep saying they will post the tickets 2 days before the gig to stop people from selling the tickets on...This means I have to make a 300mile round trip to collect the tickets.. I am being told that my £150.00 I have paid is not for tickets but for their service... They are treating customers like s**t.. AVOID AVOID AVOID DO NOT BOOK... (read more)

I tried to buy tickets via this website, on 4 occasions I was told my tickets were reserved for 7 minutes. After roughly 1 minute of entering details, I was told they'd sold out. Will never use this website again. Should have gone via NME tickets. (read more)

Despite the site assuring you that you have selected the correct tickets, no tickets are held for you to purchase. If you want to get tickets on this site be prepared to copy and paste all of your details as you will not be given enough time to enter them manually. The process of buying tickets seems not to depend on you queing at all, it is much more akin to free for all scramble. Overall then an appaling experience. If at all possible purchase your tickets elsewhere! (read more)

These people are impossible to get hold of - always on hold. Mis-sold tickets and no response to emails/customer services enquiries/never answer phones. I have put the transaction into dispute with Visa and these "seetickets" companies should be blacklisted. (read more)

I booked tickets for various shows through Gigsandtours and think they're great! They've just updated the website so its nicer and works better. Its still simple and good to use but has even more stuff like pub finders and venue maps. only thing that could make gigsandtours even better would be if I could save my card details and if it had tickets for all concerts as sometimes bands / shows aren't on there (like Kasabian).
As long as I can get my tickets at Gigsandtours I will though - boss...

I tried to book tickets. I gave my credit card details, but got an error. I had to phone a premium rate number, to tell me the error was because the site had sold out.
Why not reserve tickets for a few minutes to allow transaction to complete?
Why not tell me there were no tickets?
After an hour of trying to phone premium rate number and queuing etc, I gave up and checked with my card that no money was taken.

Gigs and tours is amazing. Tickets are easy to buy through them, and they're reliable. I've bought about five tickets through them and have not had one problem. The only bad thing is when tickets are released it is so hard to get on to it but thats not gigs and tours problem, its just because everybody wants to get on the website. Best Ever Ticket Agency! :-) (read more)

No, "Gigs and Tours" are absolutely right in saying they will post the tickets days before the gig, to stop people from selling the tickets on. They get some of the tickets from the promoters, and to continue to get those, they have to reassure them that they will not be sold on. QED
