Good Points: Friendly staff, very clean, great views

Bad Points: On a hill, food not to everyones tastes

General comments: My wife, two children and I have just returned from a 10 day stay at the Seray Forest hotel in Marmaris. We thouroughly enjoy ourselves and were pleasantly surprised with how much Turkey had to offer. We booked a last minute deal so were not too sure what to expect but the All İnclusive hotel was lovely. Admittedly, it was at the top of a large hill, but the hotel offered a free shuttle service several times a day, and we enjoyed the few occasions we had to walk anyway.
The food was not bad, but we did feel that we had eaten more salad than we ever have in our lives!
We ate out a few times at some of the local restaurants down the hill, both Violets and Meeting Place were very nice. We had a few drinks in Mustis bar but it was very pricey so we didnt eat there, nice atmosphere though.
We enjoyed lots of days out during our stay, all booked with Nostradamus, opposite the bus station. They sent us on the Dalyan trip to the Turtle Island, where we saw ancient tombs, and indulged in the famous mud baths!
Also we visited Cleopatra Island which was definately my wifes favourite day, apart from the FREE shopping trip they gave us!!
The children absolutely LOVED the Jeep Safari, so much so that we booked it twice!!
Lastly we booked the All Inclusive boat trip which was such good value and a great great day.
You can get plenty of bargains in Marmaris, and also Icmeler market, but the locals can be quite hassly so be warned!!
All in all a fab holiday and we would definately return to Turkey!

Lovely clean hotel, staff really friendly. We were lucky to have a room with a pool view others were not so lucky, be warned. Had a really lovely meal first night so decided to go half board, not a good choice as there are loads of cheap restaurants down the road 5 mins away.

My holiday at Club Seray was the best one yet! I made lots of new friends and the staff were amazingly friendly. The only bad point was that it was quite far away from Marmaris centre but this was made easy by the doll buses, which were a great experience. Hope to visit again!

We tended to go on the excursions rather than stay in the hotel (Scuba diving, Jeep Safari, Water parks, Boat trips, Midnight cruise, Turtle beach). These trips are about £10 a head, and children in some cases go for half price, and they are fantastic value for money. Included in the price is pick up at the Club Seray Forest hotel in Marmaris at 09:00, breakfast, Lunch and drinks, including booze, and delivered back to your hotel at 17:00.

This is the second time we have been to Club Seray Forest in Marmaris, as we went last year at the same time, and I have two kids age 12 and 14. It is a bite out of the way, but what a view from the pool or balcony in the day time, and night is even better! You can see all over, right to the sea, and you are 3.5km from the beach, so you get a nice breeze; not like when you are in town, as it's too stuffy and sticky. Our holiday to Club Seray Forest in Marmaris was one of our best holidays yet!! It was overall brilliant! Everyone was friendly and helpful, the place was the best, and we loved it!

Would I go to Club Seray Forest in Marmaris again? NO!

It was the longest two weeks of my life, and I couldn't wait to get home.

Lack of entertainment, greasy food, dirty pool, attitude of staff, poorly serviced rooms, lack of cooking facilities and expensive air con that was rubbish.

My overall review of Club Seray Forest in Marmaris is that it was quite hygienic apart from all the wasps and insects around the pool bar and near the verandas. The hotel has a lot of nice scenery if you look forward, but at the sides it looks like there is a scrap yard. Apart from all that, the pool and the rooms are very nice and comfortable.

Marmaris, Club Seray Forest: I LOVEEEEEEE Turkey by far THE BEST place for a vacation awesome beaches hot guys fun in the sun great resorts I really do LOVE it there and would DEFINITELY go back anyday..... I might even have my honeymoon there!!!!!! I recommend Turkey for people of all ages.....

I think we should read the brochure and investigate more before we book a holiday to avoid disappointments. Club Seray Forest is away from it all and built on a hillside overlooking Marmaris. There is no kids club. Not suitable for wheelchairs, buggy chairs and people with walking difficulties. Air conditioning is at extra cost and like all the other self catering apartments only first roll is supplied.

Club Seray Forest is a very clean and well looked after hotel however it is somewhat out of the way of the main resort, the staff are obnoxious, the night-time entertainment is non-existent as its always finished around 10pm. This is a hotel for the older generation...

It was our first trip to Turkey, and our first holiday with our 3-year-old. We were quite anxious, but the whole experience was great. We stayed for 7-nights at the Club Seray Forest in Marmaris, and had a really good time.

The staff were great, and the apartments were spacious and clean, and the food was great. It was disappointing that the air conditioning was only in the bedroom, but we weren't in the room very much during the day, so it didn't make too much of a difference.

We were given Seray Forest as allocation on arrival and were very impressed. Up a steep hill but not a problem, plenty of good restaurants to choose from only about 5-10 min walk away. Didn't really eat at Club Seray as so many other places to go. You had to get a dolmus to the beach (Marmaris main street) but they were easy and cheap. Apartment spacious and clean.
Altogether very good holiday.

Overall we enjoyed our holiday at Club Seray Forestas a family.However, we felt we were being "ripped off "as things were so expensive especially in the apartment complex.We also found the waiters to be "over familiar" at times.The issue of safety around the pool area needs to be addressed as we witnessed at least 3 nasty falls by people on the very wet surface.

The Club Seray Forest resort is in a beautiful location away from the bustle of Marmaris, but with a fantastic shuttle bus service to the centre.

The staff here are amazing and cannot do too much for you!

Would recommend to anyone - we have cancelled our trip to Spain to go back.

I broke my leg at Marmaris, Club Seray Forest due to no fault of my own and was treated terribly...could not wait to leave this hotel and the cold inhumane staff.

Marmaris, Club Seray Forest Apartment - We have just come back from staying in the Seray Hotel yet again and found once more that the hotel is extremely well-run. Very clean, food excellent in fact our best meals were eaten there, and the staff are very friendly and polite. We will be going back again in October and already are looking forward to it. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. Well done Club Seray and hope you have an excellent season!

Marmaris, Club Seray Forest - We had fabulous tıme ın Club Seray Forest with my family. The apartments are really nice and very clean, wonderful staff very friendly and helpful, very nice daily and nightly entertainment.
