I ordered a Lowepro 100AW bag from this company. I received a Paypal confirmation but never received an order confirmation from the company nor did any order show in my WaltersPhotoVideo account. After a couple of days, I queried whether they had received my order but there was no immediate response forthcoming. Going on from this, I have read reviews on other sites that speak of store closures with this company. I also note that before these last two "one star" reviews, it has been almost five months since anybody reviewed them.
Something not quite right, buyer beware and make sure you use Paypal.

Unfortunately due to some tchnical issues with oyr new website we are unable to see new paypal orders through our normal backend, this in conjunction with problems marrying over 5000 stock lines to our stock database, we have unfortunately left this particular customer down. It isnot ourintention to do so. However the customer complains that he was not well informed, but the fact is that when the stock discrepancy was discovered they received a full refund immediately rather than lead them up the garden path that the bag would be delivered in a timeley manner as we would expect our customers to deserve. With regard to store closures; I'm sure that your are aware of Jessops closing over 190 stores recently, which is indicative of the current state of the photo retail industry. Mainly due to winig customers demanding the earth at a penny cheaper. However the redundancies and store closures our business have undergone positionour business in a far stronger financial situation, so please stop scare mongering because you didn't get your bag.

I don't need freebies, just a little courtesy.
What I cannot understand is why you never bothered to email me the above and I would have waited for the bag. Communication these days is free.
It is a shocking business model to only reply to customers whenever you receive a poor review. Had I not written exactly what I had experienced, you would have not bothered to explain your technical issues.
There are plenty of businesses out there that can supply me with my bag, but for now I am just using an old 110 AW, it is easier than disappointment.

Add to this the cheap cost of postage and packaging by using the large letter choice, I thought this was an excellant price. Delivery was described as 3-5 days and it came in 2 days.
