“I have the particular model which is one of the rarer...”

Written on: 27/07/2013

I have the particular model which is one of the rarer named editions and was produced from 1969-1973 with the plastic stock. Works perfectly and really enjoyable piece to have. Looking to sell the rifle if anyone would like to give an acceptable offer for it i know it is one of the rare Winchester look alike model's. Nothing wrong with it only slight signs of wear as it is an old rife about 43 years old… Read Full Review

I have a pre 1972 model of this rifle, with the plastic stock and metal butt plate. Works alot better than the newer models, but harder to find in good shape. It still cocks hard, but the trigger pull is lighter. Mine has the hammer safety setup on it. When you cock it, the hammer goes back about a 1/4 in., to shot it, you must pull it all the way back. The bad thing with mine, it needs a new seal to shot right. Will find one, and get it repaired to new working order again… Read Full Review

So i just got my Winchester 1894 Air Rifle at a swap meet for 35.00. I think it was a deal considering i haven't shot it yet. One of my favorite things about the gun is the look,it does resemble a winchester 1894 but it also resembles a 30.30 that my uncle has, and just to mention mine is an older model so the lever and butt plate are STEEL, I just had to throw that in ther for some feedback to some of the other reviews i saw on here so i'll be back....after i soot the gun of course… Read Full Review

I am an older collector, I have over 100 BB Guns ( and "real" guns ) (My wife is ready to throw me & the guns out already.) My favorite gun of all is the Daisy Model 1894 "Spitten Image" BB Rifle. The first one I had was in 1963 and it was the very first gun I owned. I loved that BB rifle more than my first girl friend. It was a beauty. I only wish I still had that one. Lord knows what ever happened to it. I managed to find another 1894 a couple of years ago and purchased it via internet and I… Read Full Review

I found this review very helpful because...
the reviewer sounds rationale, knew his subject and, I think, was fair.
Everyone hates the heavier trigger pulls, but that's the damn attorney's doing. An easy trigger pull is easier to accidentally shoot. So, it's like a second safety; you really have to intend to shoot these guns to get them to go off.

“After removing the Daisy Winchester 1894 Air Rifle...”

Written on: 09/06/2005 by BBman (1 review written)

After removing the Daisy Winchester 1894 Air Rifle from the box I noticed that many of the moving parts were plastic. Even the Cocking Lever is plastic, and it feels like it could be broken very easily. The gun's trigger is extremely hard to pull! The gun's accuracy is poor at best. The biggest disappiontment, I was expecting more quality for $80.00… Read Full Review

“I just got the Daisy Winchester 1894 fun rifle...”

Written on: 31/07/2004 by sonic07 (19 reviews written)

I just got the Daisy Winchester 1894 fun rifle yesterday, after shooting with it about 30 rounds it wasn't so fun at all. my finger is soared from pulling the trigger and my nuckle is bruised from knocking on the lever action. shots were all over the place very very poor on accuracy compare to the Red Ryder. Today everything is a bit better, after shooting it with hundreds of bb's. the lever action is a bit softer, I learned not to bang my nuckle and learned that pulling the trigger by sliding… Read Full Review

Petty cool looking gun for a toy. Refinish the stock in dark walnut and it looks great above the fireplace.
