Bad Points: The Japanese chin can be very shy at first towards strangers and can get attached to just their owners! Also they like to have a companion to snuggle up to. Finally you can't leave a Japanese Chin in a house all day long or for more than 5 hours.
General comments: Japanese chins are lovely animals and are good with other children. They can be taught tricks and are very intelligent. They are lovable dogs and great family pets to have, take it from me I own two!
They need to be groomed once a day as they have long silky hair. They come in Red and white and Black and white (most common). They only eat a small portion of food around the size of your fist.
