Love my sprint blue baby. Wanted yellow with black seats but whats under the bonnet proves colour doesnt matter. Never let me down, very forgiving, beats most things on the road (exepting the newer big engine sporties), a gear box to die for, there is truly nothing I dislike about this car ....... well, except the radio but I guess I could change that lol. But change the car - NEVER. Buy one, they seem to be cheap now for some reason, but if you like to drive - then there is no better... (read more)

short of an integra R its the best front wheel drive car you can get the chassis is fantastic. Mine has a stage two remap so is even faster. Don't bother with boxsters or focus or astra vx's these cars are better and excellent value for money, i also have an alfa 147 GTA and the fiat is a better drive, £4500 well spent only the 90's stereo lets it down and thats an easy fix. Had my Fiat Coupe 20v Turbo for a couple of years now and it is the best car ive ever bought, It's nice looking and a real head turner (you dont get looks like that if your in an Impreza or Lancer), Almost feels like your in a secret cult when you own one. It's great on fuel (using 3/4 of a tank from Leeds to Gosport doing 80ish mph)
Only stuff ive done to it is uprated the brakes to grooved ones all round, fitted some H.I.D headlights.

If you want a wicked sports car, buy yourself one, they're great. Even sweeter with a flutter valve on it, so sexy lol. The Fiat Coupe is a unique looking car with serious sports car acceleration and it will embarrass most cars easily.
The engines are very reliable but problems will arise if you neglect the oil checks and fail to keep to the service intervals as required in the service book.

The Coupe whilst being visually totally unique is not deserved of the accolade of being the best, most dynamic, most reliable, fastest or prettiest car on the road. But when I drive mine it does something far more that few other modern cars are able to do. The Coupe makes me feel connected to it and I become a part of the driving experience. In general a great car. I bought mine for 900 hence all belts needed changed and body work needed sorted. But the car has full history and with 127,000miles the engine drives and sounds like 60,000, been told by fiat mechanic. Front seems nose heavy as engine is heavy, which in turn make the rear feel too light. My old e36 coupe was better handling. Overall a superb sports car for the money! (read more)

Fiat Coupe 20v Turbo Limited Edition. Best choice for stonking performance at budget prices. Older performance car, youngest now 6 years old and needs lots of tlc. Later models perhaps better with better interior, multiple airbags and minor body trims. There is also a non turbo model with 154Hp which is quick and cheaper to run / insure. Great fun and great to look at. Reliability a bit suspect and although I loved my 20V Fiat Coupe non-turbo from new, when I approached 60,000 miles bits did drop off and I lost faith in it. The air con wouldn't work and the electrics kept failing. It also had a trouble starting as the immobilizer would never work. Fiat dealerships have got to be the worst going! This is another tale of a basically great car, but an owenership experience which is spoiled by niggling, expensive minor faults.
The Fiat 20v Turbo Coupe Limited Edition (mine was number 0053) was a triumph of engineering and style for Fiat, the most expensive and fastest car they have every produced. I bought my Fiat Coupe 20v Turbo Limited Edition a year ago and was immediately impressed with the performance and comments received from anyone I graced a lift to (and these were plenty when I first bought it).
Not so good is the fact that I needed to replace the front tyres after 10,000 miles of wear (they were Yokahoma's). Or that the headlights don't work too well as they have gone hazy from the sun (the coup and I live in the Middle East).
