Good Points: Full keyboard comes in very handy in the American version of the Nokia 3300
Upgradable memory is not limited (I added 1Gb, and I have seen up to 4Gb)
FM radio comes in very handy on long trips
    Works with any Nokia charger

Bad Points: It's confusing at first to know which side to talk into on the American version of the Nokia 3300
The button to end the call is unfortunately located on the side where the ear is bound to go (lost a few calls this way)
The volume is very low (got a few complaints when I let someone borrow the phone that they could not listen, and it makes you push the phone to your face affecting the previous point)
MP3 is very tricky, and unfortunately if you add the extra memory you will have an awful time if you add too many songs trying to sort through them.
Battery life is very short (I solved this by getting a second battery and charger)
The features on the screen look like an older phone, and the sound it makes would make you doubt that it's poly
It has bad reception compared to many phones I have tried
It does not have bluetooth (sadly this phone needs it - incredibly bad)

General comments: This Review is based on the American version of the Nokia 3300 with a full key board.

The Nokia 3300 mobile phone is a good show off at first, and it's fun to have for the first few weeks, but it does have a tendency of getting dull incredibly fast. Its greatest flaw is the sound. It could definitely have a lot more, and the way the headphones are connected to the cell phone makes it very possible, in fact, most likely that you will accidentally move your hand one inch on the phone and unplug the cable, which means it's not a very good phone to use headphones with either. It would be if it had bluetooth, but it does not.

However, a very handy feature, and probably one hidden from anyone, is the fact that you could connect the cellphone to the computer through a USB, and with the ability that you can add more memory, you can use the cell phone as a flash drive (like I have done. I am a high school student, and I take everything school related, on the cell phone everywhere with me), though the cable is a bit of a problem to carry around, and it's tricky to plug into the computer, as you are left turning from one side to the other trying it to make it go in. It sometimes takes a little while to figure out you were doing it correctly in the first place.

Overall, the phone is very poor, though may I add in the plus side? It has incredible resistance to impact. It has fallen countless times on the pavement, and one time from pretty high, as I tried to grab it but ended up launching it up, making it fall about 6 feet, and the phone still worked perfectly fine, and it has fallen many times, which is something that the new phones may not do. In a way, it's like a classic car; you can let it overheat and still drive it several miles until a rest stop; unlike a modern car that overheats and stops immediately, the phone looks like a classic phone after a while, and it becomes a classic in your eyes. It is so reliable that you cannot seem to get rid of it. I have a Sony Ericsson s710a, which is unable to contain the memory the Nokia holds (only 128Mb max), but I still have the Nokia when I have to take my work with me. Unfortunately, this actually annoys me because the phone never breaks, but at the same time it annoys me because it is so reliable.

I would still not recommend anyone to buy the phone though, as you cannot use headphones with the phone, and I have already broken 6 handsfree kit's, because where you think you could plug a normal set of headphones for the music, it will not fit.

The Nokia 3300 is a good tidy mobile phone, mp3 player is gr8, although the amount of songs it holds depends on the memory card which it comes with. (standard is 32mb) The radio is pretty good although using the headphones are annoying if its in your pocket it can come out and disrupt your listening of the radio and mp3 player.

I got this Nokia 3300 mobile phone for xmas. I was very exited and for the first few days loved it. The mp3 on it is brilliant but then after about 4 weeks i had problems. When i tried to switch the mp3 on, the phone would turn off and then come on again by itself without asking me for a pin. So i took the phone back to the link and they said it had to be sent for repairs. Apparantly there was other problems with the phone as well as the mp3 player not working and it had to be sent to nokia. It ...

I got this Nokia 3300 mobile phone in late January and I still love it today.(I usually get bored of a new phone after a week). This is a good phone for me because I like music, I have become bored from the camera. When I am alone I like to dance a little so, this phone is the one for me. Anyway,,, huge 64mb memory which can be doubled. That means you can carry less than 60 songs on this device, which is impressingly much. The transfer from the pc is easy, well after a while. The radio quality i ...

The Nokia 3300 IS a 'with it' phone with un-phonelike extras. I can download between 12 and 16 tracks from my pc to the built in mp3 player. There is also an FM radio installed, 4 x colour games which you can play, lose pathetically, then tell everyone and his cat how brill you are, in remarkable clarity! (hands up those that are cringing!).I'ts polyphonic, has a good GPRS wap browser, and you can even download short (very) movie clips to it!.
Oh yes, i forgot to say that you can make phone cal ...

Shaped like a handheld sega or gameboy, the Nokia 3300 has some great features. a full mp3 player (including an equalizer), a radio, and built in recorder. even if you don't have a computer, you can still record directly from cd players etc via an adapter. much of the features like colour screen, changeable facias et al are on the 7210, and the games you can get are usually compatible on both phones, so my upgrade between the two was not as painful as i had predicted. backing up games/applicatio ...

The Nokia 3300 is a great mobile phone. The sound is good and it's really usefull as a phone AND a MP3-man. Unfortunately the phone isn't that what it could've been. With the records button very prominent on the phone, you'd expect it to be able to record voice memo's or songs of the radio, but for a voice memo you'd have to connect a microphone to it and the redia is being recorded onto the phone-memory, not the 64MB extra memory. Thus making the recording very short. Don't get me wrong, I like ...

The design of the Nokia 3300 mobile phone is great-trendy,attention- grabber specially here in the Philippines. Rarely would you see a phone like this one. The sound is great. The only problem is you cannot download wallpaper via USB cable simply because there's no Nokia PC suite. Hey Nokia Guys!Aren't you going to release a PC suite version for Nokia 3300!?

The Nokia 3300 is the perfect entertainment phone, with a great mix of music, games and messaging features this is the phone for everyone who want to be a little different.
The price of 1500 DDK. (about £135 or $250) isn't too expensive when you think of what you get, a high quality MP3/AAC player, a FM Radio, a digital recorder, stereo speaker, stereo headphones, 64 mb memory card, music organizing software for the pc, color display, great java games and more.

The MP3 player on the Nokia 3300 mobile phones rocks!!! With it's 64MB MMC(which you can double using the 128MB MMC), you can store up to 30+ songs of AAC files. True tones is likewise a fresh additional features. You can have you favorite song as your ringing tone - in it's true tone!!! Other features are basically the same as other series 40 mobile.
