Lil' Jon & The East Side Boyz have just released their "Kings Of Crunk" album in Australia. Living in Australia I am reviewing the Australian Exclusive. The Australian Exclusive is a 100% value for many pack which also includes a DVD. The DVD includes the video clips of some of their biggest hits (Including "Get Low") and going behind the scenes isn't a problem either as the DVD covers this too. On the album they feature a whopping 23 guest artists. Even though Lil' Jon is relatively new to us Aussies we do know him from Usher's number one smash hit "Yeah!" which was produced by Lil' Jon and partly sung by him. Lil Jon has been around for a fair time having hits like "Put Yo' Hood Up".
The best tracks on the album include #3 (featuring Jadakiss & Styles P.) "Knocking Heads Of", the underground hit "I Don't Give A F***", "Play No Games" is also amongst the best tracks of the album and of course the smash single "Get Low - The Remix".
What disappointed me a bit is that the original cut of "Get Low" wasn't included on the CD. That is really the only thing I didn't like about the album. I wouldn't recommend the album to young children as there is quite a lot of swearing involved.
Even though it will take time to get used to Lil' Jon's rhyming style for some I would recommend it to any HipHop lover. The CD is definitely value for its money and I'll rate it 8 stars out of 10. For now all you'll have to do is to get crunked by Lil' Jon & The East Side Boyz!!!
