    Good Points: Well Kept, Clean, Friendly & Helpful staff, well stocked but small shop on site, Beach, Lovely pool, Nice Garden. Can use adjacent facilities, three close decent restaurants, 8 mins walk to small town. Beach Ideal for kids but care needed getting there.


    Bad Points: At present overlooking building site - as is most of the area. Steps so not really suitable for wheelchair users. Beach accessible only by perilous rickety stone steps - no doubt this will be fixed soon as they are quite efficient.


    General comments: For a last minute holiday the Riviera Apartments was superb, Balkan holidays were very efficient, pick ups on time etc, trips very well priced and good value. Rep was the best of any holiday we've been on, knowledgeable and friendly - not pushy at all about the trips. One minor hiccup was sorted instantly with a couple of phone calls. They REALLY couldn't have done more to help.
    Self Catering was definitely the best move as eating out is fun, many restaurants to choose from, all staff were friendly and helpful, food was always superb, but don't expect to get it in the right order anywhere except the Hawaii restaurant at St.Vlas. Everywhere else serves it as it is ready so you get your starter, and mains together followed by veg etc whilst other people with you get theirs in a different order. Best thing to do is just enjoy it and take it at face value. Excellent place for vegetarian's probably best country we have been to for choice for veggies.
    Now the best part Prices are C H E A P.
    Negotiate with taxi drivers before journey.
    DO NOT CHANGE MONEY ANYWHERE APART FROM HOTELS AND BANKS (the little shop on the complex being an exception) --- You WILL get ripped off
