Good Points: Very small Looks nice Very good picture and sound (apparently)
Bad Points: Noisy Difficult to set up
General comments: I hunted these down to the ends of the UK after seeing great reports in Which? and What HiFI. But, we never got a chance to test it. We had the machine on for 30 minutes, and the whirring noise coming from the recorder just forced me to box it and return it. The noise was high pitched and was far too distracting, so I never got to appreciate the picture and sound quality. Also, the set up was nigh on impossible. I'm one of those guys that doesn't bother using the manual, and just use intuitive button presses to set up my gadgets. Unfortunately, Sharp defeated me. I was greatly saddened by my lack of brain cells, but reassured when re-reading the reviews which stated that Sharp machines were a real pain to use.
Oh well, I'm on the hunt for another machine, so hopefully ReviewCentre will help me in my search.
