    When I first joined the AT&T Wireless network, I felt I had good coverage. But over the time I have had my iPhone (about 1.5 years), the coverage as become so bad - poor to non-existent - that I may have to switch to a different carrier. If AT&T doesn't start investing in their network and improving reception, they will so be a bad as Sprint.

    AT&T is one of the cheapest but their coverage is horrible. If you check their coverage map online, you'll believe that their coverage is excellent. But if you become a customer, you'll find out. I repeatedly get dropped calls and experience way too many dead zones (most of them on freeways or in buildings). I switched my SIM card, I switched phones several times...and I still get the same thing. Everyone coming to my house with AT&T gets the same deadzone, but the AT&T customer care reps s ...

    I would suggest AT&T to anyone that needs a mobile phone.

    Incredibly, I was fool enough to try not once, but twice (one year apart) to get an AT&T phone on-line, having seen an advert with a teaser startup offer. The phone never came either time.

    In both instances, I'd filled out all the information on-line, and ordered a phone, but it never came. In the most recent order, I wanted specifically to get the phone on-line, since they offered a free rebate (which wasn't available in a brick-and-mortar store).

    When I first signed on to AT&T 5 years ago I got great transmission quality. Over the past few months transmission quality in my area is marginal at best. There were always a few dead areas but now there are more bad areas than good. A rep at the AT&T store told me it was because AT&T lost (or did not renew) a lease for some of their local mwave towers.
