Good Points: Three of the greatest tracks to ever be recorded. And a collectors item!
Bad Points: Only released on vinyl.
General comments: Wildhearts, Greetings From Shitsville - Ok, yeah I know that this appears in the 'CD Single' section and it was only ever released on vinyl, but what the hell!...it's still a Wildhearts single.
Released back in October 1993 by East West, this was released two months after the release of the album "Earth Vs The Wildhearts" on which the title track and the second track both appear. The single came out on 7" Brown Vinyl with all the copies numbered "No. 2 of a limited edition". Get the joke?
The track listing is as follows:
1. Greetings From S**tsville
2. TV Tan
3. And The Bulls**t Goes On
The third track later went on to appear as a B-Side on the "Caffeine Bomb" single released in February 1994. All three tracks are classics, with monster riffs, haunting melodies and the usual burst of British passion for rock, that adds a ponding pulse to the music.
A bit of a collector's item with great songs to boot!
