    Brilliant place - looks great and is surely one of the, if not the, best in Arpora. Fantastic hotel! Only downside, if it is one, some staff don't really speak English too well

    My wife and I got married in Goa, we took 50 guests with us to the Marinha Dourada and every one of them said it was an excellent hotel.
    Anybody that travels to Goa must appreciate it's a third world country but the people do everything in their power to make your holiday perfect. Very happy!

    Many, I felt that the rooms needed updating some have windows blacked out apparently to hide the enormous building project behind. I thought the food was awful and expensive compared to outside with taxes added to everything.

    The hotel is in the middle of nowhere and taxis are required. I heard that bag snatching and muggings around the hotel are common and I found the surrounding area and the nearest beach to be filthy.

    Overall Marinha Dourada is an excellent place to go for a holiday. I am going back this year. The surroundings are lovely, and the people who worked at the hotel were lovely. The food is fabulous. The only negative is there are no lights outside of the hotel or surrounding are at night and I would not go out alone.

    The Marinha Dourada is a wonderful hotel set in beautiful and peaceful surroundings in Goa. The hotel is built alongside 2 lakes where you can fish and take boats out. We went in November, and there were very few children on-site, which was a bonus to us! The hotel has a lovely little restaurant, a great bar (with a great barman), a beauty salon, a gym, a shop and a tailor on-site. They provide a free shuttle every hour too, and from Baga beach, although the walk is about a mile long and lovely ...

    The Marinha Dourada is set around a couple of lakes a mile or so from the north end of Baga beach on the edge of Arpora, opposite where the famous Saturday night market is held. The rooms are spacious, air conditioned and cleaned on a daily basis. The staff are numerous and friendly and many people like myself go back time after time. It offers great value for money in an outstanding location - FANTASTIC!
