    Do not go near zodiac studios..
    Like many others we meet from zodiac in the summer, we were not given our 500 euro deposit back when leaving, even though this was a damage deposit and the room was left spotless! When we asked politely for our deposit back when leaving, as the money was ours the staff were rude and started trying to claim that we has agreed to a 3month contract, even though a contract never existed the staff then resulted to threatening us ( a group of 3 girls ) to get us to leave the hotel ...without the 'DAMAGE' deposit. Honestly i would not suggest setting a foot in zodiac studios and do not hand over a penny to them especially before you arrive. No other apartments in Malia ask for a deposit before you arrive

    We arrived at Zodiac Studio Apartments on 12th may 2009 having already paid a 500 euro deposit. We paid 1500 euros upfront for a 3month stay.. during our time there we found the staff rude and not friendly at all.. rather insulting to be honest ... after 1months stay with NO warning we got kickd out as they said they had complaints about us but wouldnt tell us who from or how we could resolve this.     I had an amazing time at the Zodiac Apartments in Malia! The hotel was a five minute walk from the strip, so it wasn't too noisy, and all the staff were really nice and up for a good laugh!!

    There is no pool, but in Malia you can just use any pool, which is good as you just pick the one where the birds are the fittest!!

    I will definitely be going back again! It was my best holiday yet!

    We arrived at the Zodia Studio Apartments in Malia in the early hours of the morning. The staff there were very friendly, and they had food available for us as soon as we arrived! We even had out suitcases carried up to our rooms!

    In total there was 5 of us who went to Zodiac Studios (me, my mum, my sister, my mums friend and her daughter). We all loved the place, and the whole holiday was fantastic! They make the best cheese toasties in the whole of Crete, and I have watched all the Simpson ...

    Everything about the Zodiac Studios helped us to have a great holiday! There were 13 of us in total (all lads aged 18-20) and not one of us had a bad word to say about this place! After reading some of the other reviews we were a bit wary, but there was no need to be! The pool is a 2 minute walk away and about 10 minutes to the frantic nightlife! Make sure you have a cocktail from the bar before you go out to get you started! Its a bit of a walk to the beach, about 20 minutes, but we were happy ...

    From the moment we arrived at the Zodia Studio Apartments in Crete, until the last moment we left, the staff where useless.

    On the last day we had to be out of our room at 12.00 noon. If you pay 25 euros you can stay in your room until 18.00, then they tell you can stay in the room until 4am if you pay a further 35 euros.

    I would never reccomend the Zodiac Studios to anyone that wishes to enjoy their stay in Malia. On arrival we were charged 90 euros for air conditioning and a safe only to find that the key to the safe was attached to the door key which then has to be placed in an open cabinet when going out, so anyone had easy acces to the safe key.
    My friend left her balcony door open for 5 minutes because she was putting some washing out to dry, she then noticed that for the next few days her air conditioning ...

    Arrived at 2 ish to Malia very freindly welcome by Cat and Carisa made us come out of our rooms for a free drink which we happily obliged.
    The staff were also brilliant my mate was very pleased with the sausage and bacon butties he consumed on many late night back which the staff were more than happy to make even it it was aorund 4 - 5 in the morning.
    Also sample the cheese toasties I must have consumed a fair few of them whilst staying there and try and get your name on the competion board m ...

    My holiday to the Zodiac Studios was one to remember! The accommodation was clean, tidy, bright and well looked after. The staff were really friendly and helped us with anything. They made are holiday even more enjoyable!
    The zodiac is set back from the main strip, not too far but just enough after a night out!
    The pubs and clubs were amazing; Malibu & Malibu sports bar were my favourites. As well as cheeky half and banana club!

    Zodiac apartments at first glance seem basic but acceptable, with most a group of young folk could ask for for a holiday. However, dont be fooled.

    Save a good few hundred euros for fines you can expect to receive. They will even try to charge you for toilet roll if your not lucky. The telephones in room are advertised as being the same as a payphone. A blatent lie as only around half an hours worth of calls cost us 120 euros.     Zodiac Studios was amazing. We had a great time. Carissa Mike and Marco were great at helping us with anything we needed as well as being great friends. I would definitely come back to these apartments. I can't figure out how the last review had such a bad experience here.
    During our stay we talked to other people that were staying at the zodiac and they all were very impressed with the standard of service of the Zodiac.

    The standard of cleanliness was appalling at Zodiac Studio Apartments. When entering the studios there is a notice at reception stating that a charge will be levied if the walls or towels are dirty upon departure. The rep raved on about how clean the studios were in comparison to others in the area all I can say is I can not imagine any worse than this place.

    When we entered our studio the walls were filthy (I have the photos to prove it) we actually cleaned them for fear we would be blam ...
