Philips FWC399 sounds great even at high volume. Very loud and very bassy.

I've had a Philips FWC399 system for about 6 or 7 years now, and I still love it. It has lived in my bedroom, my garage, and now my dorm room at college and it continues to give me great performance. I never really use any of the features (Incredible Surround, Max Sound, etc), but sometimes using them will give you a better/different sound, depending on what you're listening to. My Philips FWC399 is now 7 years old. It cost me only £150 back then and it still pretty sick.I can produce beats and make pretty heavy tunes that sounds almost perfectly equalized when played in a club - can you believe that!?I'd recommend buying this system even over some of the much better makes at much higher prices!- Read Guest's review (96 words)

It sounds great. I have had this stereo on a daily since I was 17 years old. For the past 7 years I've used this as my primary computer speaker and still works great. The bass tones that come out of this speaker always seem to surprise me given the relatively small size of the speakers. The overall amount of sound (volume) that can come out this unit before cracking its also nothing to laugh at either. The settings for "max sound".- Read Guest's review (119 words)
