brilliant location right on the strip next to everything, BUT THE REPS WILL CON YOU and only want your money and if you say no YOU AINT WELCOME !!! £210 for 1 week excursion or £265 for 2weeks but they will give you 1week excursion and 2 days worth on the second week, also during the day reps wont entertain you you have to do it your self which is not what you want on an expensive 18-30,,,,,,,,,THEY DO NOT WASH SHEETS and was charging girls up to £40 for makeup stains which we all know you can wash off..and even £10 for a pillow, apart from this its okay to stay in as your on the strip and hear nothing once the doors are shut just watch how reps will change once you say NO

MIRAGE BEST HOTEL TO STAY IN!!!! Me and my mate stayed here in sept and had the best holiday ever!!! Rained most of the week but didnt stop us partying! Hotel very basic, pool lovely, staff up for a laugh and reps crrazzy !! Excellent location clubs and bars with music to suit everyone, piza, subway, maccies all on doorstep! I advise to take some extra money if you going to book the excersions, well worth going on party in the park and silent disco, amazin !! Only come here if you are young and want to party !! xxx

written by on 25/01/2010

Me and 14 of my girlfriends went too Malia last summer on 1st July for a weeeek and had the most amazing holiday!! The resort is perfect for a crazy drunken holidayyy, there are clubs too suit every type of music and most are open untill about 5am but the party doesn't stop there because everyone heads to the beach for some skinny dipping!! The Mirage studios are perfect if you want somewhere basic and clean! They were a good size (we managed to sneak 4 into a room for 3) with a wardrobe, chest of draws with a mirror, kitchenette with a hob, bathroom with a powerful and hot shower and a balcony!! What else do you need?? You couldn't get more into the centre of the nightlife if you tryed, it literally is on your doorstep but don't worry about the noise because your usually the one making it haha if not you'll be to drunk to notice it!! The pool is lovely and refreshing with a jacuzzi and there is a pool bar with friendly staff working there!! I would 1000000% recommend booking a holiday to Malia and staying in The Mirage Studios if your looking for a holiday to remember because i wont be forgetting it in a hurry :) x x x x x P.s It is well worth getting a Quad bike for the week and taking a road trip to Star Beach !!

Hotel Mirage is in a great location for the pubs and clubs. Rooms are very basic but ok for what you need. Only problem, they don't supply towels or toilet rolls so a bit of advice to just take your own. Reps are fantasic and a good laugh and definitely go back to this hotel ok.

The Mirage is in a great location it is on the strip so no need for taxis and about a 2 minute walk from everywhere. I have stayed in 18-30s accomodation for the past few years and this has been the worst. They do not tell you in the travel agents that you will not be supplied with towels or toilet paper in the hotel. SELF CATERING being the very word. You can pay an extra 20 euros for borrowing a towel added on to the 60 euros you have to pay on arrival for air conditioning. I stayed 1 week and my bed sheets never got changed or the flooe mopped. there is also a sign up saying they will charge you if u get excessive make up on sheets.. so beware girls remove make up before entering. And they def will as a group of boys got charged 250 euros for damaging a bed and this was a reduced rate as they wanted to charge them 500!!!.. the pool bar however was good and the food etc was nice!!.. the reps were good and overall i did enjoy malia i would not stay in this hotel however AGAIN!!

★★★★★

written by brownass on 04/07/2008

We arrived at this Club 18-30 hotel at 4am to a lot a noise, quite what I expected due to the 24/7 bar. We were asked if we wanted a safe or air conditioning at a cost of 30 'each, I recommend paying for the safe but not the air con as it is rather chilly at night and throughout the hot days when you're in your room keep the windows and balcony door open (air con doesn't work with windows or doors open).
On arrival you'll notice the damage price list! Very expensive..30 for a plastic chair. (If you do break one walk up to the Spar and buy one for 9!)

Its in a great location, right off the Malia mile which has restaurants, bars, shops and clubs a plenty. Great when you need to pop back into your room on a night out. The rooms are quite basic but good enough for the amount of time you spend in them. They all have fridges, pots, pans, sink, so you can cook your own food in the room.
Staff are okay, they have a very strict rule on not eating food or drink round the pool or at the bar that hasn't been brought from the hotel. Harsh when a WKD is 5 at the hotel but in the shops its under 2.
Club 18-30 reps we're cool, see them on most nights out. Don't pay for all of the excursions as they can be expensive. Maybe go on the 1st night (bar crawl usually) just to get to know a few people and the boat trip and the foam party is definitely worth it! On nights out the drinks are much cheaper (2 or 3 for 1 with free shots and sometimes a fish-bowl- 5 ') so avoid buying drinks from the hotel, buy your own drinks from the shops and have a warm up drink in your room.
Overall I think it is a great hotel and would recommend it to anyone!
It was the best holiday ever! Loved it, and going back next year!

The Mirage is quite chilled in the day with a nice pool and bar with good food. It's right on the strip so close to all the bars/ clubs/ food/ beach! I loved the Mirage. We went as a group of 3 girls & were made to feel welcome straight away by the barman, he's a right laugh! It's got everything you need for a Club 18-30 holiday.
Even though its right on the strip I didn't hear much noise when I was trying to sleep.

I had one of the best holidays ever! I would certainly recommend staying here. It really isn't that noisy from the room, if you have air con on there will be no need for you to have the door open. And the doors block out most the noise apart from the odd pissed people you will hear shouting and raving until 7am in the morning, but that's all part of the fun. I was prob one of them! It's the place to go. Don't miss out, I want to go back!

written by jaide malia moose on 06/06/2007

We went as a group of 4 girls to the Mirage Studios and because it's quiet at this time of year in Malia, we did all the Club 18-30 trips and we did not regret it! On the first night we stayed in the 24 hour bar. Then the second night we hit the strip with all the reps. The reps at this hotel are top. By the third night we had a routine planned, we had some drinks in our room first, then went to Sugar and then hit Factory, we also went to a few other clubs but these two are the best! Malibu, which is right in front of this hotel, is a good club, but the p.a's hassled us a bit when we were on our way out. Any way go to this hotel, I wouldn't go to any other!

“Mirage Studios in Malia are in the middle of...”

★★★★☆

written by fairycake on 04/10/2006

Mirage Studios in Malia are in the middle of everything, and there's a 24 hour bar, which is great because you meet everyone there, and the bar man is hilarious. The resort is amazing. The bars are so close, and there are places to eat everywhere. I didn't give it full marks, because although we had an amazing holiday, there's not really much room for change. Because most people go out from 11-5, you go to every bar in the first few nights. Though in a way it's good, because we had a trail planned by the 4th night, which was great. The drinks offers are brilliant as well. Basically, the bigger the group the more free drinks. Especially if your a group of 9 girls like we were. I would recommend it, because we had the time of our life.

Unless you're drunk or have had some form of sedative, you're basically not going to get to sleep until about 5am in the morning when the clubs close. It's right behind Malibu (which is great), but it's really noisy.

If you've ever been to Blackpool and enjoyed it, you'll see some similarities. Mostly scally lads, but there is a small minority of lovely men.

It is the best hotel around. It is the laid back, party sort. No families - only noisy people who don't sleep should go. The only time you can sleep is if you're battered.

The Mirage Studios in Malia is in an ideal location as it is right on the strip. 10 minute walk to the beach, but they have a pool.

“The accommodation at the Mirage Studios in Malia is...”

★★★☆☆

written by LosherdoesLakey on 27/06/2006

The accommodation at the Mirage Studios in Malia is very basic, and sheets are only changed once a week, which is very unhygienic, as there is no seating area in the apartments so you are always sat on beds. The lady owner of the hotel is very scary, and she will charge you if you so much as drop a glass!!.

We were a group of girls aged from 26 up to 34, and we found that we were probably a little too old for this hotel. The age range seemed to be around 20 years.

I enjoyed the holiday, and Malia has good nightlife. The 24 hour bar is very good if you want to sit and get drunk. The bar man is so funny, and he is such a nice bloke. The food from the bar is quite good, and they sell Hula Hoops, so what more could you want from your hotel bar?

If you are going to this hotel, just be very aware that you are not going to relax or get any sleep!!

The pool at the hotel is nice, and the beach is a 5 minute walk away, and it is very nice and clean.

If you want to eat out try Bella Pasta, which is to the right when walking out of the hotel past the 80's bar. Also. the Red Lion on the way to the beach does cracking English food. But, if you're stuck, then McDonald's is across the road.
