My mother (79), my daughter (26) and me (58) stayed in 2 rooms. It was our first time at Kalives and Twins Hotel, and this will be our new place! The hotel, THE restaurant (Il Forno), the people, the beach - EVERYTHING was lovely and very, very close to perfect! We are definitely coming back! Love from Judith :) ...

“When I last stayed at The Twins Studios in Crete the...”

When I last stayed at The Twins Studios in Crete the location was really nice because the apartment was situated in a quiet village, and I also liked the idea that the apartment was right next to where Greek people lived.

There was only one thing that I was not happy about, and that was there was not a lot to do at night. For example, there could have been a little fun fair for the children.

Overall, I would go there again. It was a nice peaceful holiday, and I am looking forward...

I have stayed in the Twins Studios at least 6 times, most of the comments in this review I wholeheartedly agree with, particularly how helpful Despina and her sons are. However, at the end of last season (when I could not get into Twins) I visited a friend who was stopping in this accomodation and the mattresses smelt less than clean and really needed swapping. I was disappointed as I had recommended this accomodation to my friend. I must point out that these studios are extremely hot in the height of summer and perhaps would benefit from either fans or air conditioning, particularly the 3 studios on the upper floor that face away from the sea.

Also stayed several times in Twins and can only endorse previous comments about helpfulness and friendliness. Visited Twins in June 05 whilst staying in Oceanis Apartments in town. It appears that Twins now has Air Conditioning (if you want to pay for it). Major extension to house nextdoor (uphill) has removed Mimosa. Shame.
