    I have stayed here twice and have enjoyed every minute of our holiday. The hosts were very entertaining. This is an extremely brilliant place to stay. Everyone in Malema village seemed friendly. There are some fantastic tavernas close to the apartments and down on the beach front. The property offers excellent value for money. It is clean and well kept. The pool area is a lovely place to cool off after a day out exploring. The Friday night barbecues are well worth going to.There is plenty to do in nearby Platanas, only a short bus ride away. There is a well stocked supermarket in the village of Malame along with souvenir shops etc. There is a doctors surgery and pharmacy about 100 metres from the Alexandros Apartments.

    Good location for families and couples with a warm relaxed atmosphere.
    Whilst there is no restaurant on site there are snacks available and restaurants close by.
    The local bus service to Chania is excellent and buses will take you to the rest of the island from Chania bus station.
    The local taxi service is reasonably priced and is a good way to avoid walking up to the apartments.
    We like to stay at Alexandros Studios at least once a year and find that many other people feel the same. ...

    We stayed in Kalamaki - part of Chania, which is amazing town, apartments Alexandros - self-catering, quiet, clean place and very friendly and helpful owners Michael and Inka. We had a great time in Crete this summer - Kalamaki Chania. Made lots of trips to Elafonisi, Samaria gorge, Gramvousa, Chora Sfakion, Loutro, Rethimno. Beautiful beaches and nature, great people.
