Good Points: The sound is quite good, especially in the bass and rock mode.

Bad Points: Remote control stops working after about 20 minutes after the stereo is switched on. not a big deal, but annoying, because since it works occasionally, it cannot be replaced without paying for it (in the shop they think it works). the remote control is needed for the bass and other sound effect, because there is no button on the stereo itself to control this.

General comments: I like the design and yellow colour. i do not care about playing mp3 files, since i play almost all my music directly from my laptop. sound is very good for this quite cheap and small stereo. problems: remote control does not work properly, which results in limited options in sound control.

Most discs won't be recognised by the Philips MC-M250 micros system, especially if you burn them. MP3 and DVD? Huh, forget it! Multi-layer DVD? No! Disc Folder structure is not displayed on the TV screen.

I have hooked my dvd through unit and use the INCREDIBLE SURROUND SOUND, its not incredible but is impressive for unit size, i have just sold my well loved seperates (new house!) which had dolby surround, they were INCREDIBLE, th ...
