A fantastic boom box that came very much in my budget. I bought it in 7.5 INR, I think, it was in the year 2009. The model was MC-V320 that I bought. Good deep bass, speakers are wow 20W + 20W. Remote could be operated almost from any angle in my room. Best setting:- Volume at 23 level, and play ENIGMA ;). Enough for a party. Just place your speakers at almost Ground Level, and there you go. However, it has few catches, Since, my system got old, I'm not able to access the front panel... (read more)

Philips MC-320 CD Shelf System has poor quality remote control. It shows defect 3-4 months after being bought brand new again and again. It is costly and hard to find. Some functions can be operated only with it.All plastic finish of the system is a dust collector and easy to damage. Too loose front panel may cause power cut off to CD playback. Only Pro is the good sound of CD and radiotuner .I would not recommend it to a friend. (read more)

The Philips MC-320 micro system has great sound! It has a rich deep powerful bass from the bass reflex system, and it also gets those high notes. It has a groovy front loading CD system (the whole front moves forward). When you put them near each other, the amp has the same shape as the speakers (sad I know)! When the incredible surround is on (although not as incredible as they make out), it throws the sound out quite wide around the room!!
It is great value for money, and you get a great...

I found this review not helpful because...
<br/>Hello mate, I have owned this MC320 since 2003 and think it`s everyting like you said with one major flaw- remote control fails with no obvious reason. First one lasted about 4 months. Got it replaced and the second one failed after about 9 months.Hard to find replacement-even on the internet. The frontloading panel of the main unit is too loose and that is causing power cut off to CD player. The all plactic finish is a dust collector. You might as well take some stars off your rewew after my comment. Cheers !
