We booked this holiday 12 weeks before departure, never been to corfu so this resort was new to us and we were not dissapointed. St georgious is full of freindly charming people and The Balconey resturant was fabulous Dimitri and his family ran this fab resturant and nothing was a bother to them, he was also the brother of Rula who owned The Lord Complex appartments which we stayed at. Rula and Simone were two fabulous and friendly people and bella the dog was adorable. to say we loved this resort is an understatement my husband and I fell in love with the resort and the people. Rula has become a great freind and we all cried the day we left. We danced to greek music and sang and thouroughly had a holiday to remember. All apps were basic but very clean and the grounds and pool kept immaculate to say Rula and Simone worked very hard to maintain hagh standards along with the domestic Faye who kindly gave me two greek CD,s to take home with us. We cant wait to re book again and have recommended these apps to all our freinds. This resort will be forever in our hearts for all the right reasons.

Arrived for 2 weeks in September 2009, 10 days fantastic weather, staff excellent and friendly, went out of there way to help me celebrate my birthday - plenty of places for food and drink, especially Balcony and Zacks, chicken sandwich at poolside bar was lush too. Beach clean, water clear and 5 mins walk.

My general comments are very good and as long as you are not put off by a tiny bathroom and an even smaller shower, then this is a nice place to stay. The staff on the complex are very friendly and make you feel very welcome, we spent lots of time at the poolside bar because of this. The resort itself I was advised on booking was pretty - its not! The resort of St George is quite run down a little dusty and the beaches are dark sand, although sea is beautifully clear and clean. I would recom ...

The accommodation is poor. Our room was the nearest to the reception / bar. The staff there have friends over and play music, drink and enjoy raucous conversations until 1am. You get woken up at 5am by the neighbours cockerel. You can't swing a cat in the rooms and they get cleaned twice a week at most. Don't expect any help from the people who run the place. They pass all responsibility onto the inept tour guide/rep. Both parties end up doing nothing.

Just back from a weeks stay. What a great place! It was a last minute booking and I did not know what to expect - but was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are small and very basic but clean, and the shower could be a bit temperamental but these minor issues were far outweighed by the other qualities of the complex. The warm welcome was genuine and you felt that you were appreciated by the owner and her staff; nothing was too much trouble for them. Linen was changed 3 times in the week I was there ...

This is the third year that my parents and I have visited the Lords Complex and are going to continue to do so. The complex itself has everything that you would require, including a swimming pool. The Prices are very reasonable and they serve good food, the bedrooms are basic but always clean. Finally, the staff are very friendly and polite and will make you feel very at home. The owner, is one of the most hard-working women you will ever meet and she will go out of her way to make sure everythi ...

This is the third time that my parents and I have stayed at the Lords Complex and will continue to so in the future. We are already thinking about booking later in the year, even though we have just returned back from Corfu. The complex itself has everything that you would need, including a swimming pool, bar and food services. The rooms are basic but always clean, the prices are very reasonable and the food is very good. The staff are very friendly and polite, which always gives a homely atmosp ...

As I stayed at the Lord Complex in St George in September, the resort was pretty quiet. This was perfect as there was no screaming kids or moody teenagers. The weather is still hot during the day, but the evenings felt a little chilly, so take a fleece.
Lots of places to eat that serve good food and are great just chilling out in. The resort is pretty quiet at this time of year so don't expect to trip the light fantastic of dance the night away. The beach is great. Would go back, in fact I am b ...

This was a real treasure. I met people who came back every year. I even booked for my daughter to go with her friend in 2006.

This is a great place to stay and really safe. I never had to worry about locking my door or leaving valuable lying around. I would definitely go back but just getting trouble trying to book it again as it is so popular - the regulars book for the following year before they leave. Loved it!!

The Lord Complex is definitely basic so if you're happy with that then fair enough. As mentioned though things like the shower, balcony and aircon are definitely enough to put me off and I couldn't recommend it to anyone on this basis. My friend stayed at the Palm Beach Hotel, half board for the same money as we paid and after seeing her room I would definitely prefer somewhere like that.

I would definitely go back to St. George, Corfu, and would recommend it for anyone (even young couples) wanting a quiet week with good food and nice weather. The beaches were nice, you could hire quads and go up to the neighbouring villages or go on any of the trips organised by the Holiday Companies. I would maybe try to stay somewhere a bit closer to the centre of the resort though.

St George in Corfu was excellent value for money. It is a quiet resort but it has an excellent selection of restaurants and bars. Not for the singles or young couple. Ideal for maturer couples and families. Plenty of excursions on offer. Lovely calm seas and some nice beaches. Could do with a little more entertainment in evenings, although there were bars offering screenings of latest movies and shows such as Elvis tributes and hypnotists. All in all I would recommend St George and especiall ...
