Went to Garden of Eden in St George during July 2004 was disgusted that we had paid to stay in a place not fit to keep pigs in. Had to bleach all the bathroom and kitchen before we could use them. The view from our room was a brick wall and the terrace was covered in bird droppings.

The Garden of Eden was very basic. One small window in whole of apartment. Could be cleaner. Few apartments down an alleyway with only the next building to look at no outlook whatsoever. Restaurants recommended were The Balcony (singing waiters), Mad Mikes for breakfast excellent. Avoid Panoramic restaurant drinks very expensive and cheap spirits and wine used.
