    Good Points: You get what you pay for.


    Bad Points: None really.


    General comments: Stayed at the Pantheon Hall Hotel in Messonghi with my wife in July 2005. Went with Olympic and paid a rock bottom last minute price. So all things considered, and half board, this really was better than we expected, having read some of the reviews. The room was basic, but hey, this is Corfu. The breakfast consisted of bread, which you could toast, and jam plus tea or coffee. We found this adequate, and if you want more you can pay for it at the hotel, or find numerous places that do English. Pool was clean, and getting a sunbed was no problem. The barman was brilliant, and people staying at the hotel were friendly. Made good friends with a couple from Potters Bar, Herts. Food in the evening was not bad at all, although we did eat out most nights. Simply because we paid self catering price for the holiday anyway, plus we like Greek restaurants. The resort is quiet, but 15 mins up the road is Moriatika which is lively with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants.

    Overall, this was not a bad holiday, and the staff were most welcoming. Would definitely stay there again, but at the right price. I would have struggled to get a flight only deal at the price we paid for our holiday.

    Me and my husband went to Corfu in September 2005. We loved the island (if you go, do hire a bike and explore the island, it's beautiful!) and resort was nice, too. But the Pantheon Hall Hotel was simply appalling! If you like eating fresh healthy food, like a bit of peace and quiet on your holiday and you do not wish to be surrounded by drunk chavs at all times, please DO NOT GO TO PANTHEON HOTEL!!!
