    Good Points: The location is bang in the middle of the stretched out resort, so you can walk in either direction for tavernas and entertainment etc. The owners are now good friends of ours, along with the barman and the man who works mornings in bar and does breakfasts. Rooms are basic, but they are cleaned daily. The pool is fairly new, but we were a little disappointed with it this year when we visited, as it wasn't as clean as we were used to there. The staff are very friendly, and they will advise you on lots of things. Chilled out late bar, which is open as long as you want (unless the barman kicks you out as he wants to get home). Good for couples and families with older children, as twin rooms only are available, and there are only 20 rooms all together.
    Many bays to go and hide in - hire a boat to find a secluded spot.


    Bad Points: All rooms are through a tour operator, and the owner only gets about 4 Euros a day, and that's for the breakfasts!


    General comments: It is a truly beautiful place. It warmed our hearts, and it is great to go back to visit and be greeted as friends. We'll be back within the next couple of years without a doubt.

    If travelling independently, hire a taxi from the Airport to Corfu Bus station and get the bus to Paleo Inn in Paleokastritsa (luggage goes under the bus), and you will save about 20 Euros each way. It's also nice to have a beer in the Square next to the bus station while you wait!

    I have just had a fantastic two week holiday to Paleokastritsa with my husband.

    The Paleo Inn Hotel rooms are basic but very clean, and nothing else was needed as we were out and about all the time, and the staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly.

    The pool is great for those hot days, just be prepared for the initial shock of the cold water.

    We will definitely be going back here for future holidays.

    We have just returned from the Paleo Inn - and had the most excellent holiday. Spiros the barman made the evenings in the bar extra special. Stavrola the receptionist is extremely helpful and friendly. We will be returning next year for two weeks.
