    I stumbled upon this little gem of a resort and accomodation simply by accident, i booked a very a late deal and was tremendously surprised when i arrived at the Maria Studios in Paleo. My son and i was warmley greeted by the host and was immediately made very welcome, the holiday just got better and better with each day. All the guests were very friendly and we were just a small amount of 'first timers' most of the other guests were 'repeaters'to both the resort and paleo and made us feel like part of a community. The family themselves were fantastic hosts. The food was wonderful, the beer cold and the cocktails was wonderful, their humour was refreshing and very dry, and the BBQ night is a superb way of meeting other guests.. also to keep fit with the greek dancing lesson which is compulsary!! I would never normally return to a resort or accomodation but i will be a repeater to this diamond.

    Everything about this place is excellent, we go twice a year and will not stay anywhere else. On our first visit in 2005 we did try different tavernas but food at Maria's is excellent and do not eat anywhere else, in fact we don't venture anywhere else except Angel's Bar which is a excellent bar, Yiannis sisters.     The pool at this place was the best feature. Corfu town is worth a look some beautiful views also if you've got kids a trip to aqua land is a good day out. If you can get on the beach the water is nice and calm. You have to pay for air conditioning 48 euros per week, accommodation about a 2* and that's being nice! Nothing worked in the place we had to fix our own toilet after we complained and no one came and it was meant to be self catering but rings on cooker didn't work. If you want to be in ...
