First Impressions. After reading the others, I may change my review after time. I purchased this Logitech Freedom 2.4 Cordless Joystick without reading any reviews because I got it at a pretty good discount 10 Kuwaiti Dinar (about $35). So far I am very pleased. I only fly Microsoft FSX, and i am a beginner. I started FSX a couple of weeks ago with a cheap-o Genius stick. With the Genius, I could not let go of the stick for any reason, the plane would flip no matter how I adjusted the sensitivity/null zone. Not to mention I barely could land the ultralight. The Freedom is 1000% better than that. I could have ordered one of the highly regarded Saitek HOTAS units, but I am a right here, right now kind of guy. If the other reviews prove true, maybe I'll check out the new Logitech G940 system. So far though, very happy with the "Freedom".

This is to save battery life but I would have liked to be able to adjust the amount of time that that it takes for this to happen. When playing games whe ...

Logitech Freedom 2.4 Cordless Joystick - I bought this stick for travelling because of the size. I used the stick for 1.5, that's right, 1 1/2 weeks before the potentiometers started going out. when pulling back on stick, at about half way the R potetiometer would command full right deflection when no deflection was desired. Sometimes the sync will only stay connected for 30 seconds at a time. Do not waste your money on this stick. MS is out of the j/s business so will have to find something els ...
