Good Points: Reliable. Never had to fix my last plextor that is still in use. Plextor backs up what they believe in. Have never had to use the warrenty. You get what you pay for.
Bad Points: More pricy than the average.
General comments: My motto is that you get what you pay for and that is the case with the Plextor PX-712A/T3....I have never had a problem with either of my Plextor models. I believe that they are out to prove that they are the best... and proving it.

The Plextor PX-712A/T3 is good, and very stable. I can use it at 20-30x speed to burn a pro-audio CD, and 8x for a DVD-A. Compared to other brands, a few extra dollars is worth it.
