    Good Points: Crisp picture
    Good sound

    Bad Points: Faulty product

General comments: After 18 months, my Philips 32PW6006C widescreen TV started switching back to Ext 1, uncontrollably. I was told it would cost 200 Euros to review and replace a part! The only solution seems to be to unplug it for a week or so (luckily we don't watch a lot of TV). I am in the market for a 42 or 50 inch plasma now, and it won't be a Philips.

Funny enough the same problems have happened to our Philips 32" television as happened with the previous reviewer, after 25 months the television has started switching itself off with out reason. We are currently trying to find out who can assist us with this problem as the TV is too big to fit in the boot of a car and there isn't a television repair man who can handle these "new microchip" televisions in a 100 mile radius. Philips of course have no interest in helping us fix this. Be warned, we ...

Was happy with this Philips 32PW6006C 32 Widescreen TV untill two weeks ago. The set started turning itself off and with increased frequency to the point where it will not stay on at all now.

It even gets more interesting as two relatives have similar sets, one is a 32PW6005 - same problem €400 to repair and the other one, which I am not sure if its a 05 or 06 is starting to do similar things.

All are between 17-24 months old. Has anyone seen similar problems as Philips are not voulentee ...
