    I dont mean to sound negative on my report......but Ionian Sea View Apartments was the pits.
    Had it been advertised as 1/2* fair enough. The pictures of the hotel on the internet are much the same as when ur there only they were probably taken years ago.
    The staff were rude and the rooms were very un-clean. The plates etc were in the sink waiting to be washed from the previous people when we got there, the towels were not changed nor was the bedding.If u get this hotel cheap then yeah go but dont go expecting a 4* holiday.
    Pleasent location but it is a lonley walk to the main strip of kavos(about 20 mins) ... if u do walk into town be careful of the scooters taking ur handbags as they drive by on the dark un-lit lanes.

    We have just returned from the Ionian Sea View Hotel and had a lovely 2 weeks. The rooms were clean, the staff and family who run the hotel could not have been friendlier. The only downside is there is no entertainment on site which is a shame as its a beautiful location and a lovely large courtyard. Kavos itself was not too noisy - we went with 2 children - and definitely enjoyed our stay. If you go you must visit the Rose Tree Tavernia.

    Just returned from ionian sea view hotel where i stayed with my boyfriend for a week, was abit worried after reading other reviews about bad smell etc but we had a totally amazing time here with no smell, dont get me wrong the location of the hotel was abit bad, with about a tem min walk to the centre but was nothing really!!! The hotel is full of groups and young couples out to party, i wouldnt really reccomend a family staying here.
    Staff really friendly and chatty, they cant do enough for you ...

    After reading the reviews on Ionian Sea View Apartments, I was pretty worried. However, upon arrival it actually didn't seem that bad! We got into our room in D block which had no balcony...hmm, went inside and darted straight for the bathroom. Brown curtains that were supposed to be white, brown water in the toilet . Damp loo roll and a wardrobe that smelt of p*ss. Outside we had direct access to the sea but it smelt like fart most of the time. They should REALLY invest in mesh nets to keep the ...

    Was pretty worried about staying in Ionian Sea View Apartments after reading quite a few bad reviews .. well in my opinion they coudn't of been more wrong ! The staff were extremely friendly .. very welcoming .. we arrived about 1am and were cooked pizza ! Throughtout the week they always said hi and saw to our needs including ordering us taxi's into the town!

    The pool was lovely ( didn't turn our hair green as one review mentioned lol ) the only let down to this hotel was the one toilet roll ...

    I was very worried about going to the ionian sea view apartments as i had read a few bad reviews. But what a pleasant surprise. We arrived in the middle of the night and we received a really warm welcome and they even cooked us up pizzas (from scratch) at 3 in the morning. The rooms were spotless and we woke up to an amazing view over the sea. The pool area was also spotless And the staff were lovely.     The Ionian Sea View Apartments were good. We got ants in our room but as a group of young girls who werent willing to clean up spilt drinks what do you expect? After having them on the balcony as soon as you asked reception they would come and give them a spray.
    Rooms werent cleaned to well and you were only supplied with on roll of toilet roll. The rest you had to buy. Staff could be seen as rude but rub them up the right way and they were lovely!

    In August 08 a group of 9 of us went to Ionian Sea View Apartments, Kavos. We felt absolulty robbed as the holiday cost us 550 pound each and the hotel was not as expected, the food was terrible and expensive and the staff were rude! they have a supermarket that if you went and bought a drink you were not allowed to take to the pool with you, only food and drink bought from the very expensive pool bar were allowed down there! for the money we payed we expected air conditioning and more than 1 r ...

    I was very worried before I went to the Ionian sea view as I had read several bad reviews and I was taking my three children on my own. When we arrived I was pleasantly surprised and we were greeted by very friendly staff. The owner couldn't do enough to help us we had plenty of clean towels and no noise at night.     It was a beautiful location right over looking the Ionian sea. Nice restaurants and bars all the way down into the main strip of Kavos. Rose tree, the plaza, and Venus were all great food and reasonably priced. Apart from that all the other good restaurants were in the quieter strip - Fatso's was good food and service and we found a great place called Eve's Garden which did 3 huge courses and free wine/beer for just 8 Euros!!

    Kavos is a really nice place if you want to go out and get drunk and have a good time. But it is a very long walk back to the hotel along dark narrow road that if you where a girl you may feel unsafe.

    Kavos is Ok if you like to stay out all night ie 18 to 25 year olds. Very quiet in the day cos everyone's in bed. We found a great taverna, the rose tree, run by a fantastic guy and his wife. Good food and a good time was had at the Rose Tree (june 2008).

    Very basic accomadation. Was for the younger holiday maker. Aspro Kavos was 15 minute walk into the busy centre of Kavos (which is good if you like to drink and party!! )
    Aspro kavos was quiet but hotel was full of young adults, not quiet hotel, but suited our girly group holiday, probably not for families or couples.

    The staff at the Ionian Sea View Apartments were really friendly and helpful. Made you feel like you should always return as it was such a family type atmosphere

    I had an amazing time here, and I would love to go back. Everything was so laid back and relaxing. The staff are very friendly and and the facilities are great. The swimming pool is a nice size and is at a nice temperature too. There is a cinema system which provided a lot of entertainment during the evening, and the 24hour service was good to because you could go and ask for something whenever. Overall I would give it a 10 out of 10!because it was the best holiday I have ever had!

    I had such an amazing holiday at this resort the hotel was nice and the view was outstanding from our balcony. The only bad points about it was there was no entertainment in the hotel at all but for some people they would probably prefer that. You could smell sewage sometimes but it wasn't too bad we would just have a little wiff now and again.     Well me and my wife stayed there for a week and it was the worst holiday resort hotel ever, it smelled, had people coming in at 5.00am and making so much noise and waking everyone up. We asked if we could change rooms and all we got was attitude. The apartments the doors make so much noise all you here is a whistling noise, something you would here in a horror film and that's no joke.
    It is really expensive to get a drink from the bar and they wont let you bring your own, even if you buy it fro ...

    If you want to drink lager, watch football, sunbathe and eat English food you'll like Kavos. It is possible to have a slightly more relaxing break in Aspro Kavos but there isn't much to do. The trips are really bad value for money don't go on them - we got driven round the whole island on a hot bus for hours dropping other people off and they lie about how much time you get to spend at your destination.
