Had this for 5 years, it has never failed even when I spilled beer over the keyboard! Processor is rapid and is more than capable. Will run good basic games , but the only real down side for me is the graphics card it just standard but thats to be expected. Came with a 30gb hard drive which is still as quiet as the day i had it. If you want a laptop just for the kids homework or for surfing the net then it's fine. If you want a laptop for anything more then you should pay more money. (read more)

While you will find many more powerful and slimmer and more stylish laptops out there, the Pro A40 never claims to do this, and hence why it is so much cheaper. You want a cheap laptop, get one of these babies! (read more)

If the laptop is over heating and the fan unit is working and the air intake vent is not being blocked ( ie laptop on a bed etc )then you need to make sure the cooling fins are clear of fluff! If your unsure then get it done by a PC shop for about £15. then suit back and see how it runs so much better
