    Family owned & run, couldn't have tried any harder to ensure we had a good holiday. Our 3 teenaged children would all be happy to return to the Margarita apartments! Close enough to the action for them, far enough away for us - perfect for a relaxing break.
    Very well kept complex, nice bar and lovely pool. Only improvement would be views of the sea, but the mountains made a lovely backdrop to the pool and gardens.
    Apartments were not easy to find, but the owners came to find us when we phoned from the local village centre.

    The Margarita Studios apartments were lovely, the family who run them were so hospitable and friendly. They made you feel very welcome, and nothing was too much trouble. They even found the motor racing on the tv, so my boyfriend could watch it at the bar! The food was very good, and was very reasonable with a wide variety on the menu.     In a word, Fantastic. I honestly can't fault the Margarita Studios.
    You will not find a more kind and welcoming place on this planet let alone Corfu. If you've had the pleasure to meet the family who run this place there's no doubt you'll understand what I'm talking about. I could go on but all I can do is recommend The Margarita to everyone.
    I'm definitely return next year.

    On arrival we were disappointed that we were so far from the beach, it was up quite steep banks, but we needn't have worried as we didn't miss the beach once. We walked down only once it was about 15 minutes but decided we were better off staying at the margarita pool every day it was so relaxing and if that's what you want to do on holiday then this holiday is for you.     I liked the Margarita Studios because it was clean and comforting. It made you feel at home. The people there are really nice and very pleasant and polite. The entertainment was good and I especially liked the pool table. The rooms are nice and the swimming pool is ace. Later in the day the pool gets shade and is a nice place to relax. The best time to go is around August/Septamber because it isn't that hot nor too cold. Overall Margarita Studios is a wonderful place to go on Holiday.

    Yes i agree the apartments were on a hillside and the walk to and from town could be quite draining and with a taxi 1 way being 8 euro's quite expensive but if you are of able bodied then the apartments are idyllic and well worth a visit.
    With regards to the not enough sunbeds we didn't have any problems and were there the same week as the previous review.

    Ipsos has a few good restaurants and bars although the main problem I found was the really busy road running between the beach and the restaurants and bars. This did rather spoil the resort, this resort is also really popular with the Italians who holiday during most of August.

    We would definitely go again, the room was big enough and very pleasant, the views were great, pool and bar wonderful, the family and staff couldn't do enough for you, you became a friend and not just a guest. The food was lovely, large choice on the menu. The only down side was that it was a bit of a walk, with a slight hill to the town but not a problem, everyone we met in Corfu were really friendly.     The Margarita family made every effort to make us feel welcome throughout our stay, and they ensured that we enjoyed our stay!! Nothing was too much trouble, and they were always at hand to direct us to do anything we wanted to do. If you are after a quiet and relaxing holiday, this is the best time to go to Ipsos, although the weather might be 'hit and miss'.

    I would definitely recommend the Margarita Studios to the young and old.

    From the moment you arrive at the Margarita Studios in Ipsos, you are made to feel like one of the family. This doesn't alter throughout your stay, and nothing is too much for the family and their staff. We miss the place so much that we are going back in September for a week, and we plan to have our main 2 weeks there next year in May. It can't be bad can it?     We recently visited Corfu for the first time, and we were amazed by the hospitality of the staff at the Margarita Apartments. They all made this holiday one to remember fondly.

    Great people! Superb place! Will go back.

    Whilst staying at the Magarita Studios, we had a fantstic holiday- the family who owned the apartments were lovely people. They were on first name basis with everyone there! Dora and Chris the parents, Dimitri their son, and his girlfriend Anne and the fastest waiterss you'll ever come accross- Katie- The Pocket Rocket!!
    The food there was amazing and was so good a value for money, it was cheaper to eat there than cook yourself!

    From the moment we arrived at the Margarita Studios in Corfu until our departure, the family at the Margarita made our holiday relaxing, enjoyable, Comfortable and unforgettable!

    The atmosphere at the Margarita made you feel so welcome, and everyone was on a first name basis. They knew what drinks you wanted before you even had to ask!

    After returning from the Margarita Studios in Ipsos, Corfu, we found that it was a very enjoyable stay! The family who run the hotel are very friendly, and that made our holiday! Nothing beats their hospitality, as they even ensure that they remember your first names! I would highly recommend visiting them, as it is a beautiful country filled with friendly locals, good food and really good entertainment!

    Having just returned from Corfu, I have to say I experienced the best hospitality I have ever had whilst on holiday.
    The Margarita is a family run buisisness - Cris and Dora, the parents and Dimitri and his partner Annie as well as Katie behind the bar.
    All of the staff were so friendly and would do anything for you and Dora's cooking is second to none at very resonable prices.

    Margarita Studios - Chris and Dimitri who own the Margarita Studios are very friendly and you feel very welcome from the moment you walk in.

    The apartments are clean and practical, with nice sized balconies. The bar/restaurant is reasonably priced, with a full selection for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

    The only downside is the location. It's a bit of a walk to the restaurants in Ipsos.
