    Good Points: Picture when used with Sony's video resolution enhancement tricks - what else do you want from a TV?


    Bad Points: More back connections would be useful, including a component connection.
    Geometry could be better.


    General comments: I have never used built-in tuner (2) so cannot comment on quality, but from DVD it can be breathtaking (RGB), and great from Cable TV also when the source signal is good. Large TV that looks best in semi-darkened room. Has plenty of headroom on brightness and contrast in my set-up. I prefer the 50Hz Sony quadrupled resolution mode.

    Sound fine but this TV demands high quality surround sound system to compliment the picture.
