“Very Unprofessional Service!”

I went to see the club which looked great. Spoke to staff who welcomed me to email them so I could arrange a week's pass to try out the gym to see how it would work out for me compared to the gym I attend at the moment (DW Brooklands). When I emailed requesting a day pass as I didn't think it was necessary for a week pass as I would know from my 1 time there, they refused, saying they no longer offer passes. “Racist in Thailand”

Virgin Active Thailand is managed and run extreemly poorly for the price. Members are treated very unequally. If you are a national and wealthy and connected you can break the rules consistantly. “Acton - lethal”

I was a guest member today at this gym. I have little to compare against but wanted to flag up what I thought was good and then the opposite: Parking facilities - good, reception - willing and cheerful. Aqua class - OK but surpised that members were allowed to join a class up to 25 minutes after start of class. In fact 4 members joined late out of 16. “Cancellation Pressure”

I contacted Virgin (both over the telephone to their call centre and also the club I attended to advise them that due to physical illness I had been advised by my specialist that I was not in a position to attend. I was asked to provide a letter from my specialist to confirm this - I have asked my specialist to do this however unsurprisingly this is not at the top of his priorities - he is dealing with sick patients after all. “Promise fulfilled - great Pool”

“Can it get any worse?”

I, with my family have been a member for just over 18 months. There are no facilities for children. Managers last for circa 6 months. Cleaning happens occasionally. The children's pool is rarely open. Today the life guard was cleaning the changing room. The sauna was closed. The duty manager was clueless. My wife has cancelled her membership. Yes you shouldn't using racist comments also I'm the members of Coventry virgin active health club I never had any issues with Asian , African or European people . Please don't bullying people with racist comments . Anywhere in England mixed up with different cultures .

“Inexperienced and rude duty manager”

The staffs have no discipline. Couple of times we have made complain to the duty manager called eunniis, he has no idear how to deal with complaints and he is very inexperienced and rude. I have seen him allowing his friends to come inside which are not members and they made so much mess in the shower rooms and changing rooms. “Starved of investment ”

VA Coventry. I was a member when this club was owned by Esporta and had a really good, superior reputation. This all changed when Virgin Active bought the club, it's now shabby, unfriendly and starved of the investment needed to get it back on track. I have just been shown around Virgin Active at Plymouth. I have never been treated so badly. I was insulted by the person that showed me around. I was told it wasn't a student gym and that if I couldn't afford it then there wasn't any point in him showing me around. Rude beyond belief! After 8 years of terrible customer service and now terrible website to book classes and because I had in the paste other gyms, I can tell you for sure that this is a bad gym. 1- you can only go to one class after work, because they overlap. 2- The swimming pool you can only swim for half of length, because the other half is for kids, you have to walk to finish the swimming. “Body pump class”

Today I attended body pump class at 1 pm. What a great class. I was having a bad morning. Cheered me up. And the personal trainer was very helpful as I just joined. Very cheerful. I ll be going to this class every couple of days. Overall lovely gym,great staff. Plenty to do. Only downside I have a 5 month old which he is a member too.
