    Good Points: My wife and I had to cancel our Mediterranean cruise as friend we were travelling with was diagnosed with skin cancer and had to go for operation.Cost of cruise was refunded in less than a week with no problems..we were delighted and will certainly use again...


    Bad Points: None at all


    General comments: Excellent insurance cover and at a reasonable price

    On a return journey from France to Ireland the TGV broke down which meant that we missed our flight at CDG. We bought new tickets , and claimed from Jardine Lloyd Thompson. We discovered that they had only brokered the policy to Europ assistance who denied our claim. Apparently "International" means outside Europe!!!!!!!

    Jardine Lloyd Thompson:
    I asked twice whether the quote of £73 included winter sports and was told it didn't. When I received my policy I discovered it didn't. When i phone up to check, I was told it did. When I asked again, I was (finally) told that no, my policy did not include winter sports, and that I had to pay extra for that.
